Victor and Yannis accepted Hasani's request for a meeting in Nathan's mansion. They entered wearing casual suits and admired the architecture of Nathan's home. But soon an eerie feeling came over them while walking through the marble floor halls. The last time they were both there wasn't a pleasant experience and the flashbacks of their fight with Nathan was a reminder.
They both walked into the great room and they instantly remembered the bloody fight and three witches that attacked Nathan.
The last time we were here was a crazy night. Victor mind linked Yannis.
Don't remind me. Yannis replied.
"Hello gentlemen. Thank you for coming." Hasani walked in from the balcony wearing a white button down tunic set.
Drinks were poured as the three of them took seats, getting comfortable. Nathan soon walked in with Diana trailing behind him.
"Why are you following me?" Nathan asked, removing his suit jacket.
Diana had tears running down her face. "We need to talk, Nathan and you keep brushing me off. You randomly called off our engagement and you won't even tell me why!"
Hasani, Victor and Yannis chose to ignore what was happening in front of them.
"I'm having a meeting and I can't talk to you right now."
"Bullshit! You are avoiding me!"
"Nonsense." Nathan continued to walk away.
"It's her isn't it?"
Diana already knew the answer but hung on to the possibility of what could be. Those few months of being the focus of Nathan's affection was like heaven for her. It was better than what she imagined and she wore her engagement ring with pride.
"Her who?"
"Don't play with me, Nathan....IMANI!!!"
Nathan stopped and the other men looked in their direction. The sound of her name got all of their attention. Diana now stood with sadness in her eyes.
"Our engagement and relationship wasn't real. You only fuck me to try and get over her....but you can't and never will."
All four men looked guilty, although her words weren't for the three of them. Nathan turned to look Diana in her eyes. There was no guilt felt in him for his charades or for still loving his son's mother.
"And you knew all of this and fully participated. You were not forced to do or accept anything I offered, so please don't play like you're a victim. Now that there isn't a baby as a part of the deal, all of a sudden, you want to share your grievances about Imani."
The guilt shown on Diana's face. Nathan knew she enjoyed him and his child's mother not getting along. He could still see her smirk when Imani's feelings were hurt by him.
"I understand you are disappointed but you used me just as much as I used you. So do you want to continue this discussion or can I start my meeting?"
His words weren't a surprise to Diana but it also didn't hurt less to hear them.
I knew he really didn't love me.
She looked at the other men who waited for her answer. No reply came as she walked out of the room.

Once Diana left the room, so did the awkwardness. I knew her words not only triggered Nathan but all of us.
"Should we expect anymore disgruntled women?" Victor asked Nathan with a smirk.
"For now? No."
The men chuckled and I began the meeting. I started with friendly talk to lighten the mood. Being that the three of them had a brutal fight before in this same room caused me to mediate our meetings differently. We had a few drinks and they all began to relax.
"Nathan, are you aware that there are plans for an attack on Euphoria's Queendom?"
He looked surprised. "No...Imani nor Braxton told me."
"Who is Braxton?" Yannis and Victor asked in unison.
"He's the captain of the military and soldiers in Ecstasia. He's also the Queen's personal bodyguard."
The brother's brows furrowed at the information given. I knew they wouldn't like what I said....I didn't like it either.
"Are they together?" Yannis asked.
"I don't know....are they, Nathan?" I asked.
"No, they're not."
Victor sat forward. "How would you know?"
We all stared at Nathan. I already knew he and Imani made amends and surprisingly I was happy for him. But also...all that did was make me want her more.
He smirked. "Her soft lips and very tight pussy told me..."
Like a flash, Yannis grabbed Nathan out of his seat by his collar in a fit of rage. Victor also stood as his anger grew slowly at his words.
I shook my head....Nathan really enjoys pissing them off.
"Fellas, please...let's keep things peaceful and civilized." I touched Yannis' shoulder.
He and Victor's dark energy filled the room and I didn't want Nathan's to join.
Thankfully, Yannis let him go at my word. Already feeling like he won, Nathan didn't retaliate and they sat back down.
I continued. "Now that we've got that out of the way. There are demented creatures lingering around the palace estate...and also a few Vampires."
"How long has this been going on?" Yannis asked.
"A few weeks. The palace is heavily guarded but I don't think that would hold them off for too long."
"And the Queen is aware?"
"Yes, Euphoria is aware...I talked to her directly."
Victor and Yannis stared at me and I knew they were jealous of the access Nathan and I had. When they became her main desire, I shared the same feeling....so I understand.
"The first annual Lotus Ball is taking place at the palace and I want all four of us to attend. I know I can depend on you three to look out for Imani better than her guards."
"Are we not banned?" Victor asked.
"No, we never were...Imani wouldn't allow Euphoria to do that," Nathan replied, leaning back.
I could see the relief on their faces.
Yannis leaned forward. "Okay, we're in...so what's the plan?"
I smiled at them agreeing with my request. With all four of us protecting Imani...I know her safety will be guaranteed. Hopefully, Euphoria will agree.
