"Honey, you don't want to leave now, you are engaged and pregnant, Tobias would break down, darling you would destroy him."

"Mom, he would move on I'm not worth it."

"He loves you, Beatrice G. Prior, and you are not going to throw your powerful love story, like a rotten tomato, Beatrice."

Somewhere in the house a door is being broken down. Marcus goes pale, he pulls out his gun and shoots me in my battered leg, then one in Caleb's chest. He climbs out the window. A dark haired man runs over to me. Tobias.

Tobias POV

I run over to Tris. She is covered with bruises and scrapes, and welts pouring out blood from my fathers belt. And a gun shot wound in her arm and leg. She took hell to protect the baby, her belly only has a few scratches and bruises, while the rest of her body is in despair. I break down into tears. I pull off the tape that's over her mouth. She screams. I don't blame her all her feelings, and pain locked up inside her. Once I cut off her ropes, she runs/limps outside. That my girl she's Divergent she can't be controlled.

I walk over to Caleb, Shauna tells me he has no pulse. Tris lost her only brother today, all because of Marcus, the lousy son of a bitch. We leave his body in the house and walk outside, I see that Tris has climbed atop one of the abnegation's roofs. I climb up.

"Tris, are you okay? I know that your not, but please talk to me." She turns to look at me, her face covered with scratches, stained with tears. I can't bear to see her this way, filled with pain and anger. But She is strong even when she is weak.

"Tobias, I couldn't help but. Tobias that was you when you were little. Babe I'm so sorry." She starts to cry. Then she looks up at me. Tears running down her beautiful face, "Tobias the baby kicked! Feel it!" She glides my hand over her belly, sure enough I feel hard little thumps. My baby is fighting. He's Dauntless alright.

"Let's go home, and get you to the infirmary." I grab her hand and help her climb down the ladder. We walk over to the train, suddenly she trips and falls."Babe, don't push yourself. I got you." I pick her up and run towards the train. She rests her head on my shoulder. And soon falls asleep.
