The snowman snarled and growled, reaching for the shed.

"Like, sorry, snow dude! This one's occupied!!" Shaggy comments

Fred slammed the shed's door shut, and this angered the Headless Snowman. He went to pick up the shack, but the gang's feet sprung out from under it and they took off running, taking the shack with them.

Then, they start going down a hill, screaming as they peeked out. As the gang soared through the air, Ruby looking around. Seeing a couple of trees she could easily reach wiht her weapon, she pulled out Crescent Rose and put it into it's scythe mode.

"Everyone hold onto something!!" Ruby signals

Everyone held on tight as Ruby used Crescent Rose to guide the flying shack down the tree, and it eventually crashed into the snow, everyone poking their heads out.

Later, when back at the inn, everyone had sat down adn Asa walked over, setting down a tray with cups of hot cocoa.

"I called the professor, and he said he's on his way." Asa states

As Shaggy and Scooby grabbed their cups of hot cocoa, Ruby asks, "Who is this professor anyways?"

"Professor Higginson? He wrote a book on Winter Hollow's ghost." Asa comments, picking up a book named 'LOCAL LEGENDS OF NORTHEAST VALE'. "He works up at that college in Mill's Corners."

Then, Tommy's family, the Atkinsons, came in.

"Well, Asa, it looks like you got your way after all." Mr. Atkinson states. "Eh, check us in. Can't stay in a freezing cold house."

"Now, don't be that way, Mortimer." Asa responds. "You know around Christmas time it's just safer for everyone to move in here for a while."

As Asa checked the family in, everyone thought.

"Sure seems like half of Winter Hollow has moved in since that headless horror showed up." Daphne states

"Asa's business is booming." Velma says. "I wonder....."

"Asa, where is it? Where's the Headless Snowman?" Prof. Higginson asks as he stepped in. "Take me there immediately!"

Asa walked over to greet to professor.

"Ah, Professor Higginson." Asa comments, taking him to where the gang and Ash's group were. "These are the kids I told you about."

"Thanks for coming so quickly, professor." Fred says

Prof. Higginson nodded.

"Well, it's not that far to Mill's Corners University." Prof. Higginson states. "Besides, i'd travel miles just to see the actual ghost of Blackjack Brody."

"Like, who???" Shaggy questioned

Velma grabbed the legends book and flipped through it, saying, "Blackjack Brody. Legend has it, he's the Headless Snowman."

"Yes, but the legend of the Headless Snowman really starts Christmas Eve, 1823 when a man b the name of Sheamus Fagan rode into Winter Hollow." Prof. Higginson explained. "He had just immigrated from another region with a fortune in gold. Sadly, Sheamus Fagan wasn't the only one on the road that dark night. For Blackjack Brody, the infamous highwayman, was laying in wait to rob any helpless wayward traveler."

"Did he get away with it?" Daphne asks

"He got away with the gold, but he didn't exactly get away." Prof. Higginson stated. "The villagers formed a posse, for days they searched every nook and cranny of Winter Hollow.

Everyone was a bit shook up so far at the tale.

"Did they ever catch the guy?" Ruby asks

Prof. Higginson shook his head and says, "No, it was the blizzard that caught Blackjack Brody. By the time they dug him out of the snowman they found him in, he was completely covered in chimney soot."
