Haley's pov
I'm asleep when I hear a knock on the door and I get dressed and answer it.
Mal says"Langdon would like to talk to you.
Haley says"ok.
I follow mal to the lounge room and I'm nervous.
Langdon says"leave us.
I sit down.
Langdon says"I have a talent call it a night vision of sort. I can see the dark places that people desperately try to keep hidden.
Haley says"I don't have any dark places.
Langdon says"really?
Langdon walks over to me.
Langdon says"then why do I feel like even though your sister is old enough to protect herself you would do anything for her even kill for her.
Haley says"she's my sister I would do anything for her.
Langdon says"you love her?
Haley says"of course I do.
Langdon bends down in front of me.
Langdon says"this new world I'm creating won't have rules I'm looking for the type of people who wouldn't just eat the forbidden fruit but would cut the fucking tree down and burn it for firewood.
He places his hand on my leg and he brings other hand up to my face.
Haley says"I want to leave.
I move my face away from his hand.
Langdon says"your afraid. Aren't you? Of excepting who you are.
Haley says"I don't know who I am.
Langdon says"what do you mean?
Haley says"sometimes I feel like I have someone buried in me. Someone trying to claw there way out and there evil and it scares me.
Langdon says"who?
A tear falls down my face.
Haley says"I don't know. I just want to go.
I get up and start walking away and he grabs my wrist.
Langdon says"don't be afraid I'm offering you a chance to live.
Haley says"let me go.
Langdon says"you don't have to be afraid.
Haley says"I said let me go!
I send Langdon flying into the wall.
Haley says"I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean to.
I run out of the room crying and go to my room.
Someone knocks on my door and I get scared.
Haley says"who is it?
Mal says"your sister. Who else?
I get up and answer it and I wipe my tears.
Mal says"what's wrong?
Haley says"I don't know. Langdon wouldn't let me go and I got scared and then all of sudden he gets thrown into the wall.
Mal says"someone else came in the room?
Haley says"no, all I wanted was him to let me go and then all of sudden he gets thrown at the wall. I think I did it with my mind.
Mal says"there's no way. Now come on mrs.venable ordered a emergency meeting.
Haley says"ok.
I follow mal to the lounge room.
Mrs.venable says"we're having a Halloween party tonight and it's going to be themed Victorian mascarde ball. Attendance is mandatory.
We all walk back to our rooms.
Mal and I get ready.
A couple hours later at the party.
We're all bobbing for apples and it's my turn and on the first try I get the apple and everyone cheers and I step to the side and it continues like that until everyone has an apple.
We all start eating the apple when I feel sick and I start throwing up and so does everyone else and start coughing up blood and I see mrs.venable and mrs.mead walks away and I'm about to fall when someone catches me and I feel safe and I close my eyes and die.
A couple hours later I gasp awake and I hear a familiar voice but my vision is blurry so I can't see who it is all I know is I feel safe in his arms.
Guy says"shh, your ok my love.
