Twenty

Martha motioned with her head as the men approached. She took off, knocking on of the men off their bike. Spencer rode off.

Bethany looked around the dark jungle, hearing a noise. She was knocked off her feet, tackled by a jaguar. She tried not to panic, as the animal looked back. She looked over, noticing a man staring at them.

The jaguar jumped off, and took off in a sprint.

Spencer continued down the path on the bike. He looked back, noticing numerous jaguars chasing him. Trying not to set himself on fire, he rode in a circle catching the grass on fire. He trapped the jaguars inside.

Further away deeper in the jungle, Fridge led the way carrying a torch. Tillie followed behind him. He held up his hand, signaling to stop.

Tillie whispered, "There's the statue."

He nodded, before looking off. An elephant burst through the foliage before running towards them.

Fridge whispered, "Okay don't panic. Don't panic."

He looked at Tillie before stepping in front of her more and yelling, "Stop!"

The elephant stopped abruptly.

Tillie motioned, "It's the Elephant, meaning the elephant and the mouse. The mouse is you Fridge."

He nods, "What's up? Mouse Finbar, zoologist and backpack guy."

Spencer stopped, staring up at the statue. He took off, not getting very far. He took in the sight of Bethany being held hostage.

"Give me the jewel Bravestone, or your friend dies right now."

Bethany squeaked out, "Don't do it!"

He growled, "Quiet!"

Alex came running, "Please stop!"

The group of jaguars burst forward growling.

"Take me instead."

Bethany looked at him shocked.

The jaguars jumped forward, causing Alex to jump back.

With the gun pressed up against Bethany's temple, he repeated himself. "Give me the jewel."

Spencer shook his head no, "I can't do that."

"Five, four.."

Spencer shook his head no, "I can't."

"Three, two.."

"I can't do that because I don't have it!"

They all looked back, as an elephant burst through the tree line. On top of the elephant, sat Fridge and Tillie.

Fridge yelled, "ZOOLOGY BITCH!"

Tillie laughed at his words, while also holding on for dear life.

The jaguars sprang forward, attacking the elephant. The elephant his head left and right, swinging them off in opposite directions. With the gun pointed at the elephant, he aimed to shoot.

Fridge yelled.

Tillie screamed, "No no no."

Bethany bit his arm, causing the gun to go off. The gun fire caused the elephant to raise up and knock both individuals off its back. The jewel flying off into the air.

Bethany started hitting her captor, yelling at him angrily. The elephant ran off.

Martha looked at it, "The elephant."

Spencer looked at her, "Begin the climb."
