Wrenley's POV
The car just arrived at the back entrance of the castle. As we go through the gate and into the huge parking garage, I look out the window to see if a certain man is hiding in the shadows. I know he said he'll see me later but now I'm not so confident he was being truthful.

As soon as the car is parked, I say thank you to the driver and rush out of the car. Samson gets out as slow as a freaking turtle, with an amused expression on his face. "Do you want to walk a little faster Samson," I ask impatiently.

"Wrenley, why can't you just rush in there? You don't need to wait for me," he tells me, not understanding why I won't just leave him in the dust.

"Listen here rookie, I need to get in there undetected. That means if your tall and brooding boss is inside waiting behind the door, I need someone to hide behind. We can split ways once I'm far enough from the parking lot, but right now I need you to get those legs moving," I explain in my best cop tv show voice.

Clearly my strong authority works because he starts speed walking to me. Though he does have the nerve to roll his eyes beforehand.

As we make it to the door to the garage, I go to grab the handle but think better motioning for Samson to do it instead. Thankfully he does so without an argument and starts to walk inside.

When we get in, I don't even raise my head. In fact I cling my hand to the back of Samson's jacket and walk right behind him. My strategy at the moment is if I can't see them, they can't see me.

After a couple of steps, I feel a wave of stupidity because I'm clearly worrying about nothing. Matteo isn't waiting like some creeper for me to come into the castle. I mean why would he do that?

Suddenly, there's a pull on my arm from behind that sends a warm, tingly feeling through my body. Oh no.

It's ok it could be anyone.

I look up and match eyes with the dark brown ones that never can seem to leave me alone. Shoot! At least those eyes don't seem to be glaring, in fact they seem a little softer than they usually do. They're actually kind of pretty to look at, which makes sense because the man is quite pretty to look at as well.

"Ahemm," the pretty man, I mean Matteo clears his throat.

"Oh hey, Matteo. How are you doing," I ask super casually.

He pulls me a little closer to him, making me release my hold of Samson's shirt. "I'm doing just perfect now. What were you and Samson doing," he asks, seeming to already know the answer.

I try to come up with a lie, "Umm we were... we were just..." I look over to Samson for help, but he's just smiling as he watches the situation. Clearly my speech did not reach him.

"Were you maybe trying to sneak in after leaving the castle alone? And before you answer, I'd love you to watch this," he asserts, pulling out his phone. He then clicks play on security footage showing the car driving into the garage and me running out of it.

"Well... I... Ughh," I try again to get something out but it's quite clear that I've been caught in a lie. Plus not even a minute after I walk through the door, he's already here with the security footage on his phone. I'd say he was waiting for me.

"Samson if you'll excuse us, it seems that me and Ms. Wrenley have something to discuss in private," he tells Samson who still has a stupid smile on his face.

"Of course sir," Samson agrees and starts to leave.

"Actually Matteo, I think I'll just head to my room. It has been a tiring day out after all," I relay as I get myself out of his hold and start preparing to run.
