It has been a month since Zalfie had any contact with Gabby. Alfie and Gabby was still keeping their secret from Zoe. Zalfie was splitting apart. Slowly but surely. They had at least 2 arguments a day. Always about something different. They told themselves it was Youtube, the Internet and the haters stressing them out. When they both knew it wasn't that. It was Alfie falling away from Zoe and for Gabby. It was Zoe being pushed away and feeling distant. It wasn't the three of them anymore. It was Zoe, then Gabby and Alfie.
"Alfie! Leave Nala alone! You know she's ill. She doesn't need you pestering her!"
"Oh shut up Zoe. I'm sick of you. Of... Of.. Of US! IM SICK OF ZALFIE!"
Zoe was shocked by this. She felt like he just threw every single memory they had ever shared into the sea. To swim away and never be remembered. Zoe threw herself on the floor and cried. She cried more than she had ever before. She knew Zalfie was, over. By that night Alfie was out and staying at Gabbys. Everything was over. No more Zalfie, no more Zabby. Nothing. Empty nothingness. Zoe was utterly alone.
