Tigress' parents were people of high status.
Whatever status this implies I don't know, but when I saw the Legends of Awesomeness episode "Kung Fu Daycare" this immediately became my head canon. Mostly because her parents wore cloaks with thick sashes and squiggles on the bottom and the only time I've seen people wear clothes with those similar designs are kung fu masters like Shifu, Oogway, and Rhino, or people of high status and position, like Lord Shen or one of the emperors from the tv show.....
It also doesn't explain why they left her, but maybe KFP 4 will explain it. Or not. But that's my head canon.
Actually, I guess that's more of a theory. But isn't that what head canons are? Unproved theories?
