The werewolves were stronger, faster, and can traverse the land better than humans, but, the humans had better technology than the werewolves. The war was a back and forth game of attack until the werewolves launched an attack on a village. This particular village had a mage that was in hiding until the attack happened but it was not any mage it was a mage of death. The mage along with a knight made a last stand to defend the village. The knight succumbed to his wounds but he killed at least 20 before death. The mage called Rovney River went on to lead more battles. The battles River fought in were always won. Liam's last night is not known but he was the youngest fighter in the war. He started out with fifteen men and ended up with thousands. He was a vital force to be reckoned with and at the battle of Varneck Rovney and Liam fought together. The armies would be thought to work great together and be a formidable force but they did not. There was a power struggle for a long time between the two commanders and they were taken by surprise by the werewolves. In the first step of the battle it was going great. The werewolves were retreating but Liam ordered the armies to attack of course some of Rovney's men protested and were threatened to put to death. Liam and the men who followed him went into a swamp. There the battle became a slaughter Liam and his men were killed.
