Plot summary: It starts out in the early eighteenth century in Britain a ring master and his circus is cursed by the aunt of the one he loves (because she was killed and he was framed) the curse make’s them stay the same and to forever travel through time on every new moon until they solve the riddle. In present day (not sure what city yet) a teenage girl is sick and tired of being beaten by her alcoholic mom and her mom’s drug dealer boyfriend. She decides to run away with all the money she’s saved up. As she’s leaving she decides to stop by the circus since she’s never been where she gets knocked out trying to prevent a fight between a girl and her boyfriend. When she awakes she discovers the cops and her mom’s boyfriend are looking for her. The ring leader offers to take her with them by signing this contract that binds you to the circus. Then they travel through time. When she awakes the ring leader explains the situation to her and then she tries to help them uncover the riddle. The ring leader leaves out the part about the girl looking remarkably similar to his former lover, and that he’s secretly obsessing over her.
