"You son of a bitch." Ember said as she angrily walked down the stairs
Ember did a quick curtsy to her mother and father then walked up to the head knight and slapped him in the face.
"EMBER!" Matilda said
"Sorry mother but some took my weapons from my room and there's a rule that only a few people are allowed in my room and one of those people left behind a piece of evidence." Ember said
"I told him too, because princesses don't need to have things to defend themselves." Matilda said
"But Mom, you know me." Ember said
"I don't care now, go do your embroidery and get ready for the games tonight." Matilda said
"Fine." Ember said as her eyes turned teal
As Ember walked back to her room everyone else could tell something was wrong with her. The King and Queen looked at each and knew it was time to explain to her.
"We're going to have to explain to her who she is." Matilda said
"Yeah, but how? Over dinner?" Roger asked
"I'm not sure about that, I just know she sneaks out at night to go to the training yard that is on the outside of the castle grounds near the forest." Matilda said
"Yeah, well she is your daughter." Roger said
"She's also yours." Matilda said
(Meanwhile)
"I'm feeling very dangerous or unsafe." Ember said quietly to herself
Ember tries to figure out how she is going to get her weapons back.
"You know you could just flirt with him." Aqua said
"You know he's never going to go because he's too much of a rule follower." Ember said
"Damn it, you're right." Aqua said
"You know you could flirt with him." Ember said
"What, no, why would I do that?" Aqua asked
"Let's see here maybe because you like him, and you like to watch me train mostly because I get hurt." Ember said
"All true but what do I get out of it?" Aqua asked
"The present that's for your birthday that I didn't have enough time to finish." Ember said
"Damn it alright, you have convinced me to help you." Aqua said
Ember felt someone coming.
"Hide someone's coming." Ember said
Aqua shrank into her smaller shelf and hid behind one of the few things of makeup that Ember had. The door openers and both of Ember's parents walk in.
"You're fine Aqua, it's my parents." Ember said
Aqua flew out from where she was hiding and grew to normal size.
"Your majesties." Aqua said as she curtsies to the king and queen
"Um Aqua I hate to do this, but we need to talk to our daughter alone." Roger said
"No, whatever you need to say to me you can say in front of Aqua." Ember said
"Okay, well you're not who you think you are." Matilda said
"Oh, you mean how I can turn into a dragon, and control fire." Ember said
"Okay so you know that part." Roger said
"I also know that mother can also turn into a dragon, and she also used to be like me, and I know the whole dragon thing runs in our family well mom's family. Along with Dad and his side were like the greatest warrior that could understand dragon language" Ember said
"Okay so you know more than we thought." Matilda said
"Yeah, and how Aqua is the only person that can calm me down and cool me off." Ember said
"Okay well um the games have been canceled because the lords are coming tomorrow with their families so they can finally meet you and we are making a special announcement." Roger explained as they walked out
'WHAT?!" Ember yelled
Both Ember and Aqua looked at each other and nodded their heads knowing what's going to happen tonight.
(Later that night)
Ember and Aqua got dressed up to go get Ember's weapons back.
"You ready Aqua?" Ember asked
"Not really. Do I have to flirt with him, I don't even know what I would say." Aqua said freaking out
"Breath, calm down, you don't need to flirt with him. You don't have to do this if you don't want to. I just need a distraction so I can sneak in." Ember said
"No, I'm helping you. I think I can just do the destruction part." Aqua said
Ember and Aqua sneaked out of Ember's window and traveled down and along the castle wall to the window closest to the army and sneaked in. Aqua created an ice cup that is filled with water. She looked at Ember who nodded her head. Aqua then took a deep breath and changed her outfit in one quick swoop of her hand. Then started walking down the hallway towards the head knight. As she is walking down the hall she trips and splashes the knight with the water then breaks the cup.
"Ahh." Aqua said
"Oh, let me help you clean this up." The knight said
The knight ran to get the towels when Ember emerged from the shadow and picked the locked door to the armory. Ember entered the armory quickly just as the head knight was returning with the towels. In the armory Ember looks for her weapons. While Aqua and the knight cleaned up the water.
"You must get a lot of girls. Being a knight?" Aqua asked
"No, not really. Most girls go after the cuter knights." The knight said
"I'm Aqua, by the way." Aqua said
"I', Sir Jace Flame." The knight said
Ember was able to get her weapons back and sneak back out of the Amory. She gave the signal that she got them too Aqua. After opening the window, she sneaked back out and back into her room with the weapons.
