With every step, the pain and bleeding worsened. I wanted to scream; the pain was unbearable. I watched as Wyvern limped and eventually fell to his knees. His back bled from the impact and he screamed. Leon was unconscious as the sides of his chest continued to bleed, I screamed as the demon grazed its claws against my wounds, I struggled as it did this. I was noticing my remaining flesh becoming paler as it remained exposed, the room was freezing. I watched as my father approached me with a knife. The blade was scolding hot as it pierced my chest, I screamed as it cut through the muscle and pierced my right lung. I felt the blood trickling from my mouth as he pulled the knife out. The demon cut my restraints; I pulled my hands free. I watched as Lucian pulled his hands free. "You of all people should've known it wasn't that easy, Lucian." I felt him shove the knife into my shoulder pushing it in as far as it would go and twisting it inward. I watched as Lucian struggled as the blood seeped from the wound. He stopped and turned to Vincent: his ankle was broken, his leg was covered in blood, and he was awake and coughing up blood. I screamed the bone of my knee was ripped through the flesh. I struggled as I was held down. The demon silenced me by cutting my throat, just enough to keep me quiet, but not enough to kill me. I attempted to move my hands over the wound to stop the bleeding, but I failed as I choked on my blood. I weakly struggled as the demon covered the wound. As if nothing happened the wound burned and started healing. By this point, I wouldn't care if I died, just as long as it was a quick painless death. If not, I'll try to remain alive. I didn't have any intention of ending my life, if possible, I'll try to live as long as I can, unfortunately, my priority at this moment is escaping from this vile sadist. Though am I any better? I would suppose not seeing my crimes of manslaughter. Only a corrupt judge and jury would care if I had a choice in that matter. Murder is a sin, so be it if we're damned for such a thing, that vile beast I slaughtered was not a human being. He cursed my brother and I. I made sure he was dead that night, I don't care if it's traced back to me, as long as he's dead. As long as my father Mordecai Norwood remains dead, then I couldn't care less if I rot in prison. I was snapped from my after being harshly flicked in the forehead. "Snap out of your little dreamland, Norwood." I looked at Lucian who was glaring back at me. I noticed the bars of the small cell and only then realized where we were. "I assume you've also realized that we're back yet again. Back in the place where we found him. I can tell by the way you're looking around you're also wondering how we got here, what I'm wondering is how did we get out in the first place. The answer is simple, we didn't he took us back to dead hollows and remained here as a corrupt guard. He made something up to get us out of here, and most likely did the same to get us back in here." It made sense, it was most certainly something that wretched man would do. I stared at Wyvern who was asleep, even in his sleep his pain was obvious. His wounds had recently been stitched up for the second time, though whoever did it recently did a terrible job: his torn and shredded white uniform had been changed into a dull dark gray jumpsuit, which was slowly turning a dark crimson from the wound. I sat with my back to the cold stone wall, it was my turn to stay awake and watch. Lucian had been drugged and was currently unconscious. Leon had somehow gotten himself into solitary confinement. He had acted out and attacked a passing guard. Though I'd be willing to be he's already found a way out. I was pulled out of my thoughts by shouting. I looked around seeing that Wyvern had woken up looking confused. "Why is everyone shouting, Norwood?" I sighed having at least an idea of what the commotion was about. "I think Leon escaped solitary confinement, you and I both know how if that is indeed the case." I froze as I felt something tear the flesh between my shoulder blades. I turned around to see Leon stabbing his nails deep into the flesh. Immediately after he did, he fell unconscious, I fell forward and began gasping for air. I screamed as I felt that thing rip away any remaining control I had. I fought for control, I struggled as my blood was corrupted, and I screamed. I felt like my insides were being burned, I couldn't take much more and passed out. The demon had won control over me, I was weak and it used that to its advantage. I knew it likely wouldn't surrender my body unless it was removed by force. I awoke with Leon and Lucian staring at me, Leon was the first to speak "The demon successfully possessed Vincent. Leon may know how to remove it, but we have to wait until we know for sure. It won't kill him, that much we know, we know it needs him alive. We just don't know why." I sighed; I'm not worried about Vincent. However, I am curious about what this thing, this demon plans to do with him. There's something he has that it needs. I struggled as I was chained to the wall.
