"Too much?" Enid holds up a colorful cropped shirt. Morwenna nods, but then again her color palette consisted of black, grey, and white. Wednesday sighed at her. "I feel like you just napalmed me, Enid." She then goes back to typing on the typewriter.
Morwenna watched as Lucian swatted at Thing who swatted him back. "I'm so glad I have my date with Ajax tonight." She sighs dreamily. "Get my mind off that train wreck of an afternoon." Enid says as if it gave her some type of long lasting trauma. "I literally think i have PTSD. I didn't even get to do my dance routine." She complained.
"What a tragedy." Wednesday says uninterested. "You'll get to do a certain dance routine with Ajax tonight." Morwenna smirked and winked at her. She giggled and rolled her eyes.
"Anyways, what kind of twisted psycho would want to sabotage such a life-affirming event?" She questions, more to herself than anyone. "You're going to be late." Morwenna told her.
"Wish me luck." She winced over to the sisters, her nerves at full capacity. "Take these, Enid." Morwenna handed over a bag of crystals. "Rose quarts, moonstone, jade, and ruby for your love life. Amethyst for protection. Citrine for manifestation and protection. Have fun manifesting your man." Morwenna winks once more, a tiny smile on her lips.
"If he breaks your heart, I'll nail gun his." Wednesday threatened. Enid shook with excitement and took the bag. "Thank you! I'm gonna have the best night ever!" She gushed and hurried out.
"I'm never going to hear the end of it." Wednesday huffed and turned to face her sister who only shrugged. "You like her, don't you?" Morwenna's sharp smile came to show. Her sister stayed quiet and turned back around.
"Holy shit." She smiled. "You like Enid." She laughed. "Shut up will you?" Morwenna only shook her head. "Never, sis." Her smile then disappeared through the shadowed part of Wednesday's room.
Lucian followed through the shadows right by her side, his meow echoing through the darkness. They re-entered the world in the woods, a few feet away from a shed with a light on. The witch and her familiar watched someone come out. His chestnut hair pulled back and those pretty brown hues looking around.
Morwenna became very suspicious is him then. Sure, Wednesday had voiced her own suspicions, but this made the Addams girl question him more. What was he hiding? Where did those claw marks come from? Was he the monster/ murderer?
So many question came to mind as she watched him walk away. Creeping over she saw the lock on the door, but decided to bring Wednesday with her so they could both snoop.
Walking through the darkness she made it to her tree hallow. She cleared the space from all leaves, inside she put a rug to sit on to meditate. Crystals and sigils protected the space from the unwanted. It was her peaceful place. A space where she could let out any emotion she was feeling without anyone seeing or hearing. Her magic flowed out of her hands and swirled all around her, lifting her up off the ground in her cross-legged pose.
'Wake up!' An unknown voice spoke. It sounded frantic, but Morwenna pushed it aside thinking it was a long passed spirit. 'Wake up!' It frantically whisper yelled again.
Opening her eyes Morwenna was met with the monster from the Harvest Festival. It's jaw hung as it's wide eyes stared at her. She sat composed as it was outside the line of protection crystals and salt.
