January 6th
"After the whole incident in the hospital the friend group split up once again.
Hero has been way more quiet and keeps to himself we didn't even get celebrate his birthday. Anytime Sunny is with me and we go to the park while Aubreys there she'll completely ignore him.
I understand why, we weren't really... err... expecting what we heard.
Basil is still in the hospital.
I feel bad Sunny and Basil had to carry the guilt, they don't deserve that, and I still don't believe it myself.
It's been now 5-6 years now since Mari died,
Sunny's mom canceled the moving after she noticed sunny was feeling a bit better around me.
Sunny keep staring at me weird though, and he's been err.. clingy-"

Kels pov: I woke up and got out of bed my hair being a total mess, "Damnit!" I whisper to myself, I then walk over to my wardrobe and take out my casual everyday outfit.
I walk out of the room and go into the bathroom stripping off all my clothes before hopping into the shower, After I'm done with my shower I grab a towel and wrap it around my waist and get out of the shower making sure I didn't leave a water trail on the floor.
I then walk over to the sink, I grab my toothbrush and then the toothpaste brushing my teeth.
I put my clothes on brushed my hair then walked out of the bathroom going downstairs, I rushed myself out the door after quickly throwing on my shoes.
I was in a hurry to get to Sunny's house.
I knocked on his door and the door swung open revealing sunny standing there.
I smiled with joy and hugged him which took him by surprise but he quickly hugged back
"Hi sunny!!" I'd say in a really energetic voice.
He'd do a small wave as I'd chuckle.
"Kel I have something to tell you..."
I was shocked, It's been years since I last heard Sunny speak, I quickly snap out of my thoughts.
"Hmm? What is it sunny?"
"Well.. Uh could you come inside"
I walk inside following behind him.
He sits down on the floor with me,
"Kel I think I might like you, I don't know yet for sure though"
I sit there shocked for a second not knowing what exactly to say.
"I- are you sure you might like me?"
He nods his head, "I'm sorry if you don't like me because of what I did to Basil and Mari, I just thought you should know."
I hugged him tight, "Sunny If I knocked on your door everyday for 4 years, and even after you told the truth 2 years ago, why do you think I wouldn't like you."
He'd stare blankly at me, his lips forming a small smile.
I smiled back
"I still love you, you idiot"
He'd look to the right trying not to make eye contact with me.
"Does this make us-"
I'd quickly cut him off accidentally "I think so- I mean I sure do hope so-" I'd scratch my head embarrassed of what I just said.
I'd check the time realizing it's been 5 hours already, "Jeez time sure does fly by- Wanna go to the old hangout spot?"
Sunny would stare at me and shake his head no, "Let's stay here and watch a movie- But can you ask your mom if you can stay here tonight?" I agreed and walked out and back into my house, "MOOOOM!!"
My mom Quickly rushed downstairs. "What is it kelsey?"
"Can I stay at Sunny's tonight."
"Sure, But be back tomorrow by dinner."
I walked upstairs grabbing another pair of clothes and then walked downstairs and outside back to Sunny's house.
"I'm back!"
Sunny had the floor set up with blankets and snacks and was looking for a movie.
He looked at me and pointed to the tv signaling me to choose. I chose fantastic mr fox,
2 hours later I looked to my left and noticed Sunny sleeping, I paused the movie and got up picking up the floor, After I got done cleaning I picked him up and went upstairs to his room laying him down on his bed, I tucked him underneath his blanket and made sure his bed was comfortable for him, I kissed his forehead and walked downstairs smiling to myself.
I laid on the couch drifting off to my own dreams.
