Everyone in this story is 18 or older.
This will occur after Season 2, Episode 5 in an AU where everything takes place in their Senior Year. The Argents don't know who Derek's new betas are and don't know what (the Kanima) is killing everyone yet.

"I thought you said that Lydia was the Kanima," Isaac asked Derek. The Pack was back in Derek's Lair. They came back from Scott's with their tails between their legs.
When Erica's body fought off its paralysis, she gave Derek the cold shoulder. She is the angriest with him since he is so sure of himself, and then when they act, he puts everyone else in danger without thinking about it. Boyd disagreed greatly with Derek but still obeyed because he wanted to learn. Isaac was cocky enough to call him out on his mistake.
"Yes, that is what I thought,"
"And you were wrong," Isaac pointed out.
"Yes, I was....." Derek had been stewing and thinking about the chain of events. He was so sure of Lydia being the Kanima.
"How often are you wrong?" Isaac smirked, but then Derek growled at him to submit. He backed up and crouched down.
"What is your next plan? Sending us after the Kanima to kill it even if it isn't a fair fight?" Erica snapped
"No," Derek rolled his eyes.
"But you do have another plan?" Boyd asked
"Scott knows way more than we do. He has Stiles, an internet detective, and Allison, Access to a Hunter's Bestiary. I bet they know who it is, but they will never tell us... at least not with how they view us right now," Derek explained.
"So, you want us to beat it out of them? I like that plan. I will take Stiles," Erica chuckled, thinking of how she could draw information out.
"No, quite the opposite, actually,"
"What? I don't befriend dorks," Erica rolled her eyes.
"You were a dork three years ago," Boyd pointed out, "we all were,"
"I can hardly stand Scott and Stiles' voices, much less be around them for more than 5 minutes," Isaac muttered.
"Well, you have to. It's too late for me to 'redeem' myself in Stiles' eyes. Scott is pretty stupid, so maybe I could trick him. He was a troubled young wolf last year. He will forgive quickly. The tricky one will be Stilinski."
"I hit Stiles with a car engine. I doubt he will forgive so quickly," Erica returned to giving Derek the cold shoulder.
"You'll be surprised at how fast a boy will forgive a pretty girl... Just look at Scott and Allison," Derek sighed, "or a pretty boy," Derek looked at Isaac with a Smile.
