It killed Hailey seeing Y/n with someone else. She should be the one making her ex Y/n Ruzek happy. But every argument, every word she can't take back, it hurt her inside cause she started the fight that day and accused her of cheating.
Then, only for a minute, she wants to go back in time and change things. Kevin walked over to her to check on her. "Hey Hailey, you ok?" He asked, making Hailey snap out of her thoughts. "Yeah. I just... I messed up with my ex-girlfriend." She said. "Talk to me." He said.
"The image of Y/n being with someone else. Well, that's eating me up inside. But we ran our course. Cause I messed up." She said to Kevin. Kevin nodded and hugged her. "Even though I might not like this. I think that Y/n will be happier without me." She said.
Hailey truly wanted Y/n to be happy with her partner. She messed up, and she knew it. Y/n walked past with her brother. She was excited, "She is taking me to the fair for our next date. I'm so happy she actually listened to my suggestions for a date." She said with a smile.
~the next day~
Y/n was with her date at the fair when gun fire happened across the street. One bullet hit Y/n's back luckily away from her spine but too close to her lung. "Shit Y/n your bleeding." Her date said, holding her.
Hailey and the team rushed over when they heard it over the radio. "Y/n!" Hailey yelled, rushing over seeing that she was shot. "Help me lay her down!" She said to the date and helped her down,"Ahh!" Y/n groaned, for her it hurt to move at all.
