okay okay continuation of the Evil Wizard au—
so in part 1 Wizard was able to get Evil Wizard out of control and was able to stop further damage (albeit it caused ALOT of building damage, and it also fatigued the HELL out of Wizard)
Evil Wizard comes back for another round, this time instead of just being hostile, it grew a mind of its own and it monitored Wizard's thoughts and relationships through his eyes
Which is why instead of just taking over by brute force, it resorted to psychological attacks which greatly lowered Wizard's ability to control himself, and with the help of a lil mana overload, Evil Wizard was able to control him once more 😢
while yes, in part 1 Evil Wizard was powerful as fuck, as it was a being formed by sheer mana over taking a body. But because it grew a sense of consciousness, it was able to fully control it's attacks more which yes, lowered the destructive power of it, if it ever hit you, you'll be expecting a broken bone or two, or 10 if your unlucky
despite all that, Wizard doesnt even try to take full control. due to the gaslighting nature of Evil Wiz, he just felt demotivated to even move a muscle, hell he thought that he was worthless and a nobody because of Evil Wiz (💔)
its how Evil Wiz was able to do more destruction than it was able to before, now that Wiz wasn't even trying to stop it. it just got worse and worse before Wiz could finally stand up for himself because he couldnt bare to see the place he grew up in, made memories in destroyed just because he thought he was worthless, he figured that if he wanted to prove his worth, might as well defeat his alter ego
so he fought it in his own mind, without the help of any magic since he wasnt able to use any mana in his head (+ Evil Wiz was literally THE mana of Wiz)
during the imaginary fight, Evil Wiz was coincidentally fighting the other towers as well, so it only made things harder for it to control and its power was diminishing because 1. Wiz was starting to put up a good fight, and 2. the others were starting to easily corner it
which is why in my imaginary au, the story ends with Chef and Wiz getting married and Chef paying for Wiz' therapy session-/hj
