I stepped out of my car and walked towards Suho's house whilst looking at my watch which showed that it was nearly ten o'clock- time for work. The guard let me through whilst I spun my phone in my hand, deliberating whether I should call him or not when I heard a familiar voice call my name.

"Eommonim annyahseyo!" I waved back to his mother who was watering the plants in the front lawn. She skipped her way through the plants and gave me a hug, carefully keeping her muddy hands at a distance from me. I hugged her tightly to show her that I didn't mind the mud. "He's swimming in the terrace." She whispered, giggling as I looked up to the sky hearing distant splashing. I nodded and bowed to her, then made my way into the house. I walked inside and it took several minutes for my eyes to accustom themselves from the white that was shining as if it were some stage. I smiled, the Kim's sure did like white everything with splashes of red. A young man approaches me and bows saying "You must be Chorong!?" I nod and bow back as he fluffs his hair backwards. "I'm Baekhyun." I immediately remember who he is- never having personally met him but Suho has told me a lot about his group of friends who he dearly loves and cares for, although sometimes they do things he can't tell me about.

Baekhyun babbles on about how he really wanted to attend our engagement but couldn't due to schedules as we walk upstairs to the terrace. I stroll through the bay windows and am immediately met with the blaring sun. "Cho." I make my way through the hanging clothes to the voice in the swimming pool realising that Baekhyun has abandoned me. "Why are you still not ready for work Mr Kim?" He laughed at my tone of voice which showed a mix of irritation and something-i-can't-name. I couldn't help half squeaking as I hurriedly turn around because he got out of the pool. "Here, wear your bath robe." I handed him the blue robe that was dumped on the floor. I remain stuck in my position as I feel him take several steps closer to me. I felt his breath on my ear, down my neck, causing goosebumps as he whispered "you put it on for me." I breathed in, realising it was a terrible mistake to do so as his scent made me go dizzy. Composing myself, I stepped sideward and behind him trying my best not to look at his toned body. He put his hand through one sleeve and bent lower bumping our cheeks against each other. Automatically, I hiccupped and felt myself blush knowing that he was teasing me. I faced the other way and shook the other sleeve for him to put his arm in. He did so, bringing his face closer to mine. I took a step back in an attempt to leave when I felt his arm pull me towards him. My hand rested on his chest where I noticed there was a scar. He raised his eyebrows as I traced the scar and whispered "a small accident." I looked up at him and took his wet cheeks in my hands. He dipped his face lower whilst I tiptoed. Our eyelashes were almost touching when cackles of laughter caused us to spring apart. Hastily he tied his robes together as my eyes wondered around looking for the direction of the laughter.

Eleven men made their way through different areas of the terrace, clapping their hands and shaking with laughter. I took a step behind Suho who pulled me back and lazily laced his arms around me whilst resting his face on my shoulder. "My friends." He whispers in my ear and I nod trying to release myself from his grip. "An-An-Annyahseyo." I bow at them causing them to collapse with laughter. I mentally face palm, why did I allow my nerves to get the better of me?

"It's ok noona, you can be comfortable with them." My eyes met Sehun's, who I knew very well as he was married to my friend Hayoung. I nodded and immediately felt comfortable with them as they introduced themselves and took me downstairs whilst Suho went to his room to get ready for work. They told me a lot about Suho and I found myself getting along with them very well as their jokes about him had me crying from laughter. I noticed how close all of them were, which I had thought impossible but really they did seem like brothers rather than just friends. Suho came downstairs, huffing and took my hand leading me out of the house. I waved at them as we left. He took me to his car causing me to stop in my tracks.

"I'm taking you to work though." He raises his eyebrows in surprise and slowly nods whilst my words process in his head. We enter my car and I turn it on ready to start driving when he raises his hand, telling me to stop. I do so and look at him, gesturing why. He puts an arm around me and leans forward. I lean sideward as his nose almost touches mine. His other arm makes its way in front of me towards the seat belt as he draws it over me and fastens it.

"Follow the rules, Rongie." He leans backwards and secures his own seatbelt whilst tutting at my carelessness.
