The week for Ran was like a complete pain in the ass. He wouldn't actually feel that needed on talking to Y/n but as she mention of her ignoring him made him just wanting to talk to her even more. He, however, felt somehow empty, he wasn't himself anymore and first to notice was of course, his little brother, Rindou. They had some type of conversation, if you want to call it conversation, it was mostly Ran avoiding Rindou's questions. Eventually, after Rindou notice this sudden chance not long after, all the bonten members noticed expecially Mikey, who always keeps an eye on his so called workers. Of course, Mikey knew what all of this was about and truly hoped this won't affect his mission in any way.
On the other hand, Y/n week was stressful, not because of the amount of work she had to do but because of the constant thought of Sanzu popping out of nowhere and also the thought of Ran's reaction. She wasn't going to hide the truth anymore, but at what cost? Even if it's seems like she hates Ran, she doesn't actually does it. Yes, he might be annoying from time to time but he was one of the few people that didn't really cared about her being a doctor, most of her so called friends were her friends in first place because of her position as a doctor and the strong connections with well known people she has.
At first it was quite surprising that Ran resisted that week with no information about Y/n.
The week was finally coming to an end and Ran's mission was about to start as well. Both of them hoped at this point, that the mission won't last long.

"Miss Y/n?" a shy knock at the door was heard and Y/n quickly look up and watch one of the cleaners enter the room and remain shocked.

Y/n was a messy worker and everyone could notice that. When she is wearing white, which rarely happens, she looks like she took a bath in red paint.

"Yes? Something wrong?" she asked as she moved her eyes back on her pacient.
"There is this man outside and I think he-" she wasn't able to finish her sentence as continuous loud noises where heard from the hallway.

Ran?

"Y/n!"

Fucking drug addict man.

"Miss, i think he is, well, not in his right mind." for some kind of reason she was scared to actually said what he's been up to, but Sanzu is Sanzu and who knows what he told her.
"Ah, don't worry about him, he's just bipolar and doesn't really know what he is doing." Y/n assured the cleaner and the cleaner simply nodded and left as quickly as possible. "Sanzu, if you coming here, at least don't scare everyone around here." Y/n turn to him.
"I was friendly, she just doesn't get my friendliness." he said sitting down on one of the cairs.
"I'm sure of that." Y/n said going back to her work. "Why are you here anyway? Mikey told me you had something." she asked curiously about what he will say this time.
"I just... cough a lot." he said unsure of his answer.
"I wonder why." she rolled her eyes.
"Oh, come on, Y/n. Can't your friend visit you from time to time for no reason at all?" he said annoyed.
"First of all, no, because we ain't friends. Second of all, I'm telling Mikey about this. He will beat your ass up." she turn around to quickly stick her tongue out and turned back to her work.
"I'll, for real, won't come back here unless i have a serious problem but please don't tell Mikey about it. I just didn't want to go to a mission, it was boring and Kakucho can handle it himself." he explained to the woman.
"You pay me nothing. So definitely I'm telling Mikey about it." she said silently laughing.
"Y/n, please, you really are Mikey's favorite, you never got on his bad side." he pouted.
"Because i know how to behave unlike other." she said removing her gloves and throwing them into the trash.
"Funny, Y/n, really funny." he rolled his eyes.
"What? I'm telling the truth. I thought you liked it." she said washing her hands and some of her utensils.
"If you'd add a lie i would've like it even more." he said stretching his legs.
"Can't do that, mate." she said as finished doing some of her stuff and sat down besides Sanzu.
"It's actually been a while since we last meet." he said looking at her.
"I guess so. You didn't get in any trouble." she said enjoying her moment of sitting down.
"I can't wait to win that bet with Kokonoi. He bet that ain't no way there is a secret bonten member." Sanzu laugh.
"Kinda of a cheater you are." she simply said.
"I am-" he was interrupted by the sound of her phone ringing and quickly reached her hand into her pocket and answered the phone.
"Mikey, hi." she responded with a big smile on her face and Sanzu's face dropped.
"Y/n, are you doing something important?" he quickly asked.
"No, why?" she simply responded.
"Is Ran. He was shot, multiple times. You have to come here, right now. Because i don't give him much time." he quickly said making Y/n heart break and eyes widen as she sat up leaving Sanzu quite confused.
"I'll be there in 10. No, wait, I'll make it 5." she said ending the car. "Come on, Sanzu, your dear friend will drive today." she said quickly taking her white coat off.
