AIZAWA'S POV

After he had spent some time with the children, which he oddly enjoyed, he decided to do some digging on their family. Because of the fact that their mother was lost and their father was now in jail, he of course had to find a place for them to stay. Well, he himself didn't really have to do it, but he felt obligated to because he still thought everything was really his fault. Plus he had also already fell in love with the kiddos(in a fatherlike/platonic way you naughty children), and wanted to help them, so..

Later, after about an hour and a half of searching, he discovered that there were no relatives to be found nearby. The nearest family members all resided in America and Mexico(which still isn't close at all), so they would have to fly them there. Figuring he'd report his findings back to the children, he turned around and set foot for their room.

The childrens's faces lit up as soon as he entered the room.
"Hello, mister!", the two hollered, overjoyed by their hero's arrival.
Those two words made his heart melt. 'Damn, I've gone soft-'. Those were the only words going through his head as he tried not to cry and jump out of the window with the two toddlers.
"Hey, kiddos.", he smiled, going in between their beds again just to be able to be near their cute little faces once more.
"Hey, we've gotta talk about something for a minute, yeah?"
"Uhm..okay?", the children tilted their heads in confusion, which he thought was overwhelmingly adorable. 'WHY ARE THESE KIDS MAKING ME SO GODDAMN SOFT-'
"God I just wanna run away with you two."
"What?"
"Nothing-"
"But you said something?"
"That's not important."
"Uh..alright-"
"Anyways, I was doing some reasearch on your family to see if we could have you stay with any nearby-"
"Why?"
He knelt down to be leveled with the kids.
"Because you can't stay at home anymore.", he whispered softly.
"Why?", Hitoshi asked quietly.
He thought about what to say for a moment. He normally would have just said 'Because your mother is dead asf and your dad's ass in in jail' just to make them cry because he hated children, BUT HOW COULD HE DO THAT TO THESE ONES? Well, they already knew their mother was dead so he really just had to say the second part in a nice way.
"Because your father did something very, very bad so we have to take him away. And you dont wanna stay home all by yourselves, do you?", he tried to lay it on softly.
The children thought for a moment.
"No..", their solemn tones said at the same time.
"So we're gonna have to let you stay with some of your family."
"But we dont wanna stay with strangers!"
He didnt even take in to account that they proboably didnt even know any of them existed.
"Plus we have friends here! I dont wanna leave!"
"If you don't want to leave then we could always put you in a system where people here willing to take care of you could let you stay with them or-"
"But I dont wanna stay with them!"
He sighed.
"Then where do you want to stay?"
"Why cant we just stay with you?"
"...what?"
"Yeah, why can't we?"
The hero was too stunned to speak. WHAT THE HELL WAS HE SUPPOSED TO TELL THEM??? HE'D NEVER TAKEN CARE OF CHILDREN BEFORE! HE HATED KIDS! But oh god, these kids-
"Uhm.. I don't think that would be the best idea."
"Why not?"
"Yeah, why not!?"
"Uh..becaaaauussseee?"
"Because why!?"
"Because uh.. Because I don't have enough room for all three of us."
The two deadpanned.
"Then just by a new house.", Y/n voiced flatly.
"Wh- thats insane I cant just buy a new hou-"

And within the span of an hour the pussy had already signed the adoption papers and was now looking online for a new home.
