The Missing Aftons

Chapter Ten:Concern

As Lincoln was having his reunion with his little sister, Izuku was thinking back on his meeting with his little brother. To be honest, he didn't know much about his newest siblings. He knew that one was named Chris and the other was named Elizabeth, but other than that and their deaths...he didn't exactly know what they were like now. He wasn't mad that his brother accidentally killed his younger brother since it would be stupid to hold a grudge for several decades. Besides they have all killed someone in this family so despising another member would just be stupid. 

"Izuku? Are you alright?" Michael asked. Izuku just smiled and nodded in order to not bother Michael with this issue. He had to do something to make sure that none of the Aftons would come knocking on their door especially William. He didn't like nor trust him for all of his previous actions and knowing that most of his victims would use anything to seek revenge against him.....

Izuku shook his head to get that thought out of his head. Overthinking that possible outcome would only cause the wrong decisions to be made. Everyone was dropped off in this dimension for a reason and if their past comes knocking then they would need to prepare themselves. Besides he knew that many wanted to escape from their own dimensions for reasons that were too complicated to explain in one sentence. Right now, he had to help Lincoln keep his sister safe from the Loud's clutches and explain how each person in this household (besides Ennard) is dead. 

Hopefully she'll accept it well, but he doubted it. Meanwhile.....

Henry was in the living room with his two children, Charlie and Sammy. He did let them see the Aftons (with supervision) and often visited Michael and Izuku from time to time. He never told the rest of the family since Izuku didn't want Michael to see them again. Not like he couldn't understand since William killed his daughter and son. Being close to the Aftons (especially William) brought danger to their front steps and would cause issues for multiple people. 

Michael lost his memories after dying multiple times which was bittersweet for him. He wished that he could remember his past and try to move on, but seeing him drown in guilt would just crush him. Seeing the rest of his family at this moment would only lead to a breakdown. Something that could lead to some harsh words between him and the family.

"Dad? Is everything okay?" Charlie asked. Henry was cut off from his thoughts when his daughter called him. He could continue to think about this later, right now he had to play with his children.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I was just thinking about what Cassidy's next plan is?" Henry said. It wasn't really a lie since he knew that Cassidy held strong hatred towards William. Not like he blamed her if he died the way that she and the other missing children did.

"Cassidy has been quiet lately. She is planning something, but hasn't really done anything." Charlie said. She began acting weird after the last conversation between them. At the moment, she hasn't done anything which meant that she probably decided to stop trying to kill or harm him. A fact that only caused her to become uneasy.

"I hope that whatever she plans won't do much harm." Henry said. Charlie nodded and continued to play with her brother. Cassidy is vengeful, but is also smart...she needed to know what she is planning. No matter what it takes.
