Suddenly it was quiet... smoke rose into the sky and trees and grass were still blazing, everything was charred, dry and no longer green and blooming. The small blazing flames slowly went out and only glowed. The air was dry and hot, ash flew everywhere. a disaster! The once holy mountain burned down only rubble and ash are left. Without pity they burned everything down.

But what is that? what's that rustling in the bush? Could it be? Unfortunately, only the egg remained, but it twitched and knocked, something wants to get out, impossible but true! little Rio survived!

The wind blew softly across the country. slowly the sun went down and colored the sky picturesquely in red and orange. there were a few clouds in the sky. it was autumn, the remaining trees with leaves would lose them soon.

he was trying very hard to get the eggshell open, he was so tired of it, but something told him he had to get out of there, so he tried again with all his might and... his little leg was sticking out and shortly afterwards his other leg too. now he stretched and... he was finally free. He stumbled out of his eggshell and out of the nest. he stood there now, looking around at the chaos he was born into. He turned in charred grass to get rid of the mucus that was still stuck to him from his time in the egg. he looked up at the sky, blinded by the evening sun he had to sneeze, mucus came out of his nose too, this stuff was everywhere.

After his eyes adjusted to the bright light, little Rio heard a growl. he flinched before realizing that it was him, he was hungry. He walked over the burnt grass, looking for food, but he found nothing. everything was destroyed. mushrooms he could have eaten, bugs crawling around, plants, everything. He could see almost nothing; smoke obscured the view. He felt the ground under his tiny little feet and suddenly it was gone. he fell into the lake. he kicked and tried to swim to the surface. the water trembled, bubbles raised around him, it began to glow, he looked down, puzzled. He felt a pressure underneath him...*woosh* something shot him up into the air and to the surface, he spread his little wings and glided down to the ground. he coughed and looked at the lake, he didn't understand what was happening. was that normal? he didn't know any better, he was just born.

Anyway, he had enough of the strange lake for now. he went to a big tree that was still intact. he lay down under it and fell asleep. when he woke up the next day, he stretched and yawned but when he opened his eyes, they got huge, he didn't believe what he saw, was this still the same place where he fell asleep? Everything was green and bright and blooming, no more smoke, no burnt grass and no more fires. Everything smelled so fresh. he could even hear bugs rustling in the grass. Red glowing tasty mushrooms were everywhere. the sky is a beautiful blue with a few small clouds. Here he had everything to grow big enough until he could fly. he felt safer than ever in this place. as if there were a protective dome over him.
