Santana groaned when she felt her bed dip early on a Saturday morning " Mami go away...to early..." Santana mumbled into her pillow "Your mom went to the store" the blonde said with a smile giggling when Santana's head popped up " Quinn what have I told you" Santana said looking at the usual energetic blonde "That I shouldn't just come in your room when your sleeping and wake you I know sorry but I made you breakfast that one you like" Quinn said " The breakfast nachos ?..."Santana said " And a nice and healthy protein shake" Quinn said happily " Quinn...what time is it ?" Santana asked slowly " A little after 7" Quinn said as if that wasn't early at all " And how long have you been here ?" the tall girl asked " About 2 hours " the blonde said. Santana nodded before laying back down "No Sanny get up it's time to start the day your breakfast is gonna be cold" Quinn told her but got no reply from her friend so she got up and walked to the door " Well your clearly not gonna come and eat them so I guess I'll eat them" Quinn told her leaving her room.

Santana quickly jumped out of bed and ran out of her room and down the stairs to find Quinn shoving gummy bears in her mouth " Oh you liar you tricked me" Santana said crossing her arms. " It works every time" Quinn mumbled around her mouthful of gummy bears. The latina smiled at her friend before sitting down at the breakfast bar and began eating as she and the blonde fell into an easy conversation.

It had been a little over a month since Rachel and Santana befriended the blonde and everything was going smoothly, they often hung out together and it was more than obvious that Quinn was a bit closer to Santana she spent many of days and even nights at the taller girls home mostly bc Maribel didn't like when the blonde was alone in her home. Other than that everything was fine every Sunday the Berry's, Lopez's, and Fabray's had dinner together and sometimes they even played a few games but usually Quinn's parents would have to leave to go to work. Truthfully Rachel and Santana were a bit concerned that the blonde was always without her parents however Quinn hadn't seemed to mind.

" So what are we doing today" Santana asked looking at Quinn " Well Rachel texted me and said she was spending the day with her daddy since he had a day off from work so I figured you and I could hang out or I could just go back to mine whatever you want" the blonde said finishing off her tea. " How abt we hang at your house ? We never go to your house" Santana told the girl " Oh uh...well okay sure" Quinn said grabbing Santana's dirty dishes " How about you go get ready and I'll clean these and wait for you" Quinn said " I can clean my own dishes sometimes Quinn" Santana said smiling softly at her friend " I know but I like helping now go get ready" Quinn said with a smile.

Santana went upstairs to her room and quickly got her ready brushing her teeth, washing her face and getting dressed in her favorite hoodie and a pair of leggings before brushing her hair as she slipped on a pair of shoes before going back downstairs to find Quinn putting her shoes back on. " I'm ready" Santana said.

" Okay let's go" Quinn said and walked outside walking next door to her house the blonde sighed quietly as she unlocked the door and walked inside. Santana smiled and walked inside as she looked around. The first time she'd come over she hadn't had the opportunity to look around so now she was looking at everything " Oh I didn't know you had a little brother I thought you said you were an only child" Santana said picking up the picture of the cute little blonde boy " I don't" Quinn said quickly " Then who's this ?" Santana asked curiously. " He's um...uh...he...uh...h-he's my cousin.." Quinn said stumbling over her words " You two look just alike your genes must be crazy" Santana said putting the picture down. " I bet you two get along just great" Santana said with a smile " Oh...um..no he...he passed...he passed away" Quinn said as she played with her fingers nervously. Santana looked at her friend with a frown " Sorry I had no idea" the younger girl said. Quinn quickly smiled " No it's fine he's better now...anyway let's go in the backyard I have a trampoline" Quinn said. Santana smiled and ran with the blonde towards the backdoor.

The two girls laid down on Quinn's bed in fresh clean clothes. It had began raining while they were on the trampoline and they'd decided to jump on the trampoline in the rain despite knowing that Maribel would scold them both. " Oh man that was so fun" Quinn said with a smile " So much fun we should do that again sometime oh but we can't tell mami she'll be so mad" Santana said and Quinn nodded her head " Oh yea she'd be so mad" the blonde said. They looked at each other and burst into laughter but quickly stopped when they heard the front door open downstairs.

"Who is that?" Santana whispered but was quickly shushed by Quinn as she the blonde slowly and quietly got up from the bed and walked to her bedroom door. Slowly Quinn opened her bedroom door and peeked her head out seeing no one. " Quinnie ?! Sweetie are you home ?!" Jessica yelled through the house. "Mommy !" Quinn yelled as she ran downstairs immediately wrapping her in a hug. " Oh hi sweetheart how was your day ?" Jessica asked as she kissed her daughter on the head. " Oh it was so fun I spent the morning with Maribel and then I made Sanny breakfast and then we came over here and we jumped on the trampoline" Quinn said with a bright smile on her face " Well I'm happy you had a good day did you take your meds ?" Jessica asked as she set her bags down " Yes mama I took them after I ate breakfast" Quinn said smiling at her mother.

Santana watched the two with a content smile on her face. The taller girl walked downstairs " Hi Jessica" Santana said smiling when the woman hugged her " Hey Santana how are you sweetheart ?" the tall blonde asked her " I'm doing good schools been great" Santana said as she pulled away from the hug. "That's great I was gonna make soup for dinner did you wanna stay and help or occupy Quinn?" Jessica asked as she made her way to the kitchen " No that's okay I'm sure mami is waiting for me." the latina said with a small smile " That's okay it's raining though so take a jacket and umbrella with you" Jessica said "Yes ma'am I'll see you later Quinn alright ?" Santana said grabbing the jacket she'd left a few weeks ago off the coat rack at the door. " Okay bye Santana" Quinn said waving at the blonde with a smile as she watched he friend leave.

Quinn sat on the counter and watched her mom began preparing dinner " She saw the picture mom" Quinn said looking over at her mother " What picture ?" Jessica asked as she began chopping the vegetables " The picture of Luke" the younger blonde said as a few tears fell down her cheeks. Jessica stopped what she was doing and looked at her daughter noticing the hint of fear in her eyes " Oh sweetie it's okay Santana is your friend" Jessica said rubbing her daughter's arm " What if she finds out mommy ? What if she tells everyone ? We left Savanah because of the teasing and bullying...I don't wanna deal with that here to..." Quinn said as tears continued to fall down her cheeks. Jessica wiped her daughters tears and smiled softly at her " That won't happen Quinn even if Santana or Rachel found out they won't tell anyone and humiliate you they love you...they'd support you if you told them" Jessica said. Quinn nodded as her mother kissed her cheek in a sense of comfort. " Okay mommy.." the blonde said and watched as her mom went back to making dinner. The blonde sighed quietly maybe she should tell Santana and Rachel about Luke or maybe she should wait to be sure they wouldn't judge her and leave her. It was definitely something she'd have to think about and consider.
