Hoseok's POV-
"HOBI!!"
I leave my room and head toward the stairs, planning on meeting Jimin halfway, wondering who was bothering him now.
I see him start to come up the stairs, but Jungkook catches him from behind, wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist and pulling his small body against himself. Jimin goes easily, not truly fighting Jungkook's grip, even though he complains as if he wants to get away. Jungkook is laughing, his attention only on Jimin, and Jimin's hair is in his eyes, so neither of them see me at the top of the stairs. Jungkook's head bends down to say something in Jimin's ear, and I take a step backward into the dark hallway to observe unnoticed.
Jimin slaps his arms and jerks out of his hold, whipping around, and pointing a finger in his face. "Don't call me that!"
I can tell Jimin is not serious or actually upset. His voice is a whine and his face is in a pout. He's being cute. Jungkook takes a step closer and their faces are less than a foot apart as Jimin yells, "Why are you laughing at me!"
And Jungkook denies it, a teasing smile on his lips.
Are they flirting?
I watch them resolve their "argument" and Jimin is pulled back into the den by his littlest finger, which is kept in the tiny promise between them.
"They are so into each other."
Yoongi's deep voice comes from right beside me and scares the shit out of me. I jump about a foot and barely avoid shrieking and falling down the damn stairs.
"Shit!" I whisper shout. "What the fuck, bruh! When the hell did you pop up!?"
"You curse a lot more than usual when you are startled," he states with a smile. "I've been here. I heard my boyfriend and was on my way to comfort him, but decided that staying here to eavesdrop with you would be more fun."
"Jimin told me about you two. I know it's not real." And I have a bone to pick with him about it, now that we are alone.
"Yoongi, why are you coming between those two?" I demand.
Yoongi doesn't blink. "To bring them together through Jungkook's jealousy and competitiveness. It's the only way."
I scoff. "That's got to be bullshit. You just saw how they acted without you around. If they are going to be together they are going to make their way to each other naturally; you just said so yourself! They are into each other. But you are slowing down the process and making it more difficult with whatever the hell this fake dating mess is!"
Yoongi arches a brow at me. "Am I being scolded right now?"
"Yes, you are. I want Jimin to be happy. And he wants Jungkook. Not you."
"And he's going to get Jungkook. And I know he doesn't want me; just as I don't want him like that."
I find that hard to believe. I honestly think that Yoongi is using this fake relationship to try to get Jimin to forget Jungkook and fall for him. And I refuse to let that happen. Jimin is not a character in whatever game Yoongi is trying to play. I would never tell Jimin, because he told me he's happy, but I do not approve. If Jimin wants Jungkook, he should go for Jungkook. Not Jungkook somehow through Yoongi.
And if Yoongi wants Jimin, he should try to get Jimin fairly. Not by trying to trick him and make him think he's trying for Jungkook.
I cross my arms. "So if you don't want him, then why the hell did you two kiss? Did you make him?"
"Can we take this conversation somewhere that isn't the shadowy hallway?" Yoongi laughs and turns around, heading toward my room. "That kiss was so long ago, but no I didn't make him."
