He had caught her, saved her. She looked back at that moment when she was surrounded by his arms and aura. The way back home was a little awkward, but Robin had tried to keep it lively.
"Raven?" He asked, revving up his R Cycle.
Raven looked to him, setting herself on his cycle.
"Yes, Robin?"
"What was that all about?"
Raven tensed, one hand around his waist, the other at her side. She was debating wether or not she should tell him what was really going on.
Raven wasn't very sure she should say anything, she wanted to let it all be. But when he turned around and gave her that 'I'll-find-out-anyway" look, she had no choice.
Raven tried to think of what to say to the Boy Wonder, but couldn't seem to find the words to tell him what had happened.
"I'm not really sure how to describe anything. It's nothing though, really."
She said hoping he would just drop it and they could forget what happened, but he gave her a look that said 'I-know-your-lying'.
"Raven. It's not nothing! You fell from a rooftop tonight! If I hadn't caught you you could have died."
Raven felt her mouth go dry as he chastised her. She didn't want to tell him. She couldn't.
"Raven...."
She looked down, feeling sadness try to take over her mind, but Raven pushed the emotion back, and looked up at Robin, eyes guarded.
"Please, Robin. I don't want to talk about it."
She turned her head to look at the sky, the helmet the only thing shielding her face from his view.
He sighed, revving up the motorcycle. He obviously wasn't going to get his answer right now, and he wasn't stupid enough to press further.
He looked at the goth girl through his mirror, noticing she was looking straight ahead, and, dare he say, crying?
Was Raven, emotionless Raven, crying?
He pulled over, in front of Jump City Park. When she looked around confused, he helped her off, and removed her helmet.
He removed his own, and set both down next to him.
"Rae-"
She cut him off, completely serious.
"Don't. Don't call me Rae."
He could sense the pain through their bond.
Raven stood in front of Robin, silence in the air. She wrapped her arms around her waist in an attempt to cover herself up more.
"Raven, why can't you just tell me what happened? What is it that's obviously so bad that you don't want to tell me?"
Wind blew through the air as Raven rubbed her arms, cold from the wind. She felt like if she tried to talk about what happened she would just burst into tears.
"It's too much. I don't-no can't tell you."
She pulled her hood up, turning away from the Boy Wonder. He stepped closer to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. She shivers from his touch, buy made no move to turn around.
"I can help."
He said, completely serious.
Raven sighed, eyes closed. She tried to speak, but when she did, a sob escaped her throat. She had been holding in her cries since they got off.
