Sodo x Rain 💞| request

Sodos POV:

I walked around backstage, looking for my guitar. The first ritual of the new  tour would start in 10 minutes. As I came around the corner, I saw Rain, the newest member of the Band, huddled together on the floor. He had his knees pulled up to his chest and head buried under his arms, rocking back and forth and shaking. His mask was layed down next to him.

He joined the band like 4 months ago and had never performed live yet. When he first entered, I immediately felt a connection. He was always so cute and for the first time ever I felt like I wanted to be with him. But not to fuck, no I wanted to hold him at night and wake up with him still in my arms.

Seeing him in his state now broke my heart. I rushed over to him and put my mask down too.

Third person POV:

"Rain. Hey!" Sodo rushed over to the panicked ghoul, sank to his knees and hugged his huddled form. "Shhhhh. It's ok Buddy. Shhhh. It's fine, you're save. It's all good, no one can hurt you. Shhh." He held him, until the trembling subsided almost completely. He used his finger to raise Rains head and make eye contact.

"Shhh. It's all ok. Wanna tell me what's the matter?" Sodo asked softly. Rain hesitated. "...it's gonna sound stupid, I know. But I got really scared when I peaked out into the concert hall and saw how huge the crowd actually was and then I panicked." His breathing became heavier. "Sodo, what if I fuck up my chords or- or fall o- on stage o- or-" his breathing increased even more and tears began to spill again.

Sodo panicked, as he had to helplessly watch, but tried to stay calm for Rain, who now nearly hyperventilated. So the smaller did the only thing that came to his mind to stop him. He softly pressed his lips to Rains, praying that it would work. And it did. 

As Rains breathing was almost back to normal, he deepened the kiss. When they pulled back, he looked at a blushing Sodo. "You are gonna be fine, you are the best bass player I know. They're gonna love you." He blushed even more.

Rain was still speechless. "Why did you do that?" Sodo froze. "I read it somewhere!" He answered WAAYYYY too quick. 'Damnit!' He thought to himself. 'Why do you have to blush, you bastard?!' He looked back to Rain, who smiled to himself. "No other reason?" He raised an eyebrow. "Nope! Definitely not!" Sodo again answered way too fast.

Rain only smiled softly before connecting their lips again for another kiss. A sweet one this time. Full of love and care instead of panic. Sodo deepened it. When they pulled back, Rain whispered "You know.... I like you too..." Sodo nodded silently, smiling.

"Attention! All ghouls move to their positions on stage please!!!" Someone called. Both ghouls picked up their masks before Sodo took the others hand and they went towards the stage. The security handed them their instruments and they went out onto stage. Before they parted ways tho, Sodo gave Rain yet another kiss on his temple (well, his mask but whatever). "They're gonna love you" He said. "I know." Rain stated, smiling at his boyfriend.
