'Wha- h-how where?? How am I alive???? ' I felt around me 'Am-am I in a box???..... Wait... AM I FINALLY DEAD???? ' But before I can think of something else I heard something loud outside.

Then suddenly the box I'm in toppled over and I fell out 'oh so I'm not dead? Then where am I?? '

"Are you alright miss?? " I hear an unfamiliar voice I look up to see a boy with dark brown hair and deep brown eyes

'His eyes are pretty' I then realized what I was doing and bashfully looked away "Yea I'm fine thanks" I say meekly

"HEY HUMAN GET BACK HERE!! " I suddenly heard but what I saw shocked me 'is that a raccoon??? Or a tanuki? And why is it talking?'

"Oh no RUN!! " The brunette then grabbed my wrist and started running 'What the hell??? '

We somehow ended up in a library of some sort and the brunette boy finally let go of me "uhm..." I started "yes?? " the boy looked at me "I never got your name... " His eyes went wide and blushed a little 'cute'

"I'm Yuuken Enma but you can call me Yuu. What is your name? " Yuuken or Yuu as he told me looked at me with curiosity.

"My name is Yushiko Amane you can call me Yushi or Shiko nice to meet you " I held out my hand for him and smiled at him.

He shook my hand and smiled at me too "Well nice too meet you too Shiko-san"

Suddenly blue flames appeared and I clutched onto Yuu's shirt (robe?) on instinct.

"Hehehe you really think you can get away from me human?!?! Think twice before you run away from me the great Grim! Now give me your robes!!! Agk-"

In the middle of the tanuki's speech something suddenly whacked him. "Eh-Ehhh??? What is this rope?!?!"

"It's not an ordinary rope it's called the 'Lash of Love'!!!" A man with a crow mask suddenly appeared.

"Ahh I've found you at last I assume the both of you are the new students hmm? "

*3rd POV*

'New students? ' the two teenagers thought "um excuse me but who are you? " Yushiko asked

"Please control your familiar it's your responsibility to take care of  it since it's your choice to bring it with you"

'He never answered my question' Yushiko thought "Familiar?!? As If! I will never be under these lowlifes!! "

"Yes yes the rebellious ones always say that be quiet now won't you? " the man said "but it's not ours? " at this point both You and Shiko are either confused or scared

The man still seems to be ignoring them and Shiko is getting a little annoyed "Dear me must the two of you be so impatient? Out of all the students I've handled the both of you are the first ones to open their own gate! Whatever the opening ceremony has started let's go back to the mirror chamber. "

"Gates?" The brunette asked he looked at the platinum haired female but she just shrugged

"Yes you woke up in a room filled with gates did you not? Though most students have enough patience to wait before I open them up"

"Don't blame me blame the tanuki he burned mine" Yuu said nonchalantly "and mine just toppled over and I fell out" Shiko added

"Ahh so it turns out the one at fault here is the familiar huh?"

"Mmmrrghhh"

"Well now is not the time for chit chats come on now let's hurry" the man said

"Wait where even are we?? " the platinum haired girl asked

"Oh? Have you not fully awaken yet? Or has the teleportation magic left you hazy? I suppose something like this is bound to happen ah I'm too kind"

"He never answered my questions" Shiko mumbled and pouted Yuu can only Pat her head in comfort.

The walk was mostly quiet making Yushiko feel a bit awkward then the man coughed and gained their attention 

"This is Night Raven Collage a prestigious school for those who are blessed with talent in magic I am the headmaster Dire Crowley "

"Magic? " Yuu mumbled

"Those who are worthy and is chosen by the dark mirror are allowed to go to this school and is picked up by an ebony carriage" Crowley explained.

"I do remember seeing a creepy looking horse if you can even call it one" Yuu said

'I only woke up here the last thing I remember is being choked to death ' Shiko thought

"The ebony carriage picks up the ones chosen by the dark mirror they also carry the gates with the students it's a time honored tradition"

"I woke up inside a coffin I thought I finally died" Shiko said nonchalantly the other two can only sweatdrop on her deadpan expression

Choosing to simply ignore her the Raven haired man cleared his throat "ahem let's just attend the entrance ceremony"

"Mmgghhh" Grim's muffled protests can only be heard through his covered mouth
