A FADING LOVE

    Courtney opened the door drained with water, as she took each step water spill on the floor, lily came out of the room and was surprised, she ran and took a towel, she quickly covered her and made her sit

What happened, why are you wet, she asked but Courtney just kept quiet

Why ain't you answering, she asked and Courtney started crying, lily used to towel to cover her more

Have lost Jason, have lost him, have been a fool, she said and cried

What do you mean,did you, she didn't complete her statement and Courtney nodded

No,no,why, Courtney why,you have hurt him so much,why,lily shouted

Courtney closed her eyes,I don't know, tears then fell from her eyes and she cried more

The car stopped infront of a school, the door was opened and jason came out,he had an eyeglass on,he pulled it away and walked further,A boy who heard a recommended eyeglass on who looked like a nerd

The boy accidentally stepped on Jason,he looked at jason because he knew he was a good person, Jason looked at him and punched him and continued punching him, Leo and Zack came and pulled him away

Courtney and Lily who heard it ran to see it, Jason saw her and pulled his arm away and walked away, Courtney held her book tight, Zack helped the boy while Leo ran to Jason

I heard Jason has changed,I like his new behavior, said Lucy,yeah but Oliver isn't here with us, Sam didn't come today,oh man,this is a disaster, said Kim

Courtney ran while Lily chased her, Courtney,stop, you know you are the one who changed him, said lily and Courtney stopped hearing those words, she bowed her head and cried,am sorry, she said

You have to tell that to jason that not me, said Lily as she left

Hey, shouted Leo, what, said Jason as she stopped, what's wrong with you,I know you are angry about yesterday but this isn't you, said Leo, this is the new me from now on,he said and looked away

As Jason walked people ran away or moved away,he saw Courtney, she walked to him but she stepped on her sandals making her fall in front of him, Jason looked at her, Courtney looked at him and he streched his hand, she looked at it and blinked unstoppable until she looked at him and accepted his hand

Thank you, she said but he walked past her as they held hands until they hand left each other

Wait, she shouted but Jason continued walking, please stop, please but he continued walking

Courtney was sitting alone until when Zack sat with her

Are you going to the party today, asked Zack

I broke your friend heart but you still talk to me, she said, Zack looked at her and smiled,yes, she said, they both looked at each other

The place was decorated,a little dark with spot lights on and a disco ball,with a spot for the DJ

Jason looked around and then a romantic song was played. Oliver was near the counter with Courtney and the other girls, Jason walked to Courtney, will you dance with me,he asked, Courtney looked at him and then Oliver,yes,he streched his hand and she accepted and he pulled her to the main hall as they danced

Jason,why are you still trying, she said quietly only jason could hear it,I am not trying,I am dancing with my friend,he said and rolled Courtney away and pulled Oliver to dance with him, Courtney looked at him sadly

After dancing,they decided to play a game, ten boys and girls stood in line facing each other blindfolded,a girl with microphone announced the rules that the girls one by one will go and chose the boys they heart desires. Courtney, Oliver, Lily, Kim and Lucy with other girls and the boys, Jason (who was persuaded to join), Zack, Leo, the boy Jason hit and others and they will dance with each other and kiss

Lily was first, she touched Leo but shoked her head, she continued until she held Zack's hand and she held it tightly, they stood at one position, Kim also did and took Leo, Lucy did and took someone else, Oliver held each one of them hand, she held Jason's hand but left it and held the next person as she taught it was Jason.  Courtney was next, she continued until she held Jason's hand and held it tight, Jason looked at him but couldn't see as he was blindfolded.

They all removed the clothes and saw they patners, Jason looked at Courtney but didn't smile, Oliver looked at the person she chose and shaked her head.

Music was put on,jason streched his right arm and wrapped it around Courtney waist and the other at her waist also, Courtney wrapped her hand at his neck

After dancing, the girl with the microphone told them it was time to kiss, Zack quickly pulled his lips into Lily, she relented but accepted, Kim was irritated but had no choice but to kiss her partner, Oliver patner quickly kissed her, Oliver looked at him as she has seen him before

Courtney looked at jason,he looked at her and smiled, I can't kiss her, he shouted

Why, am sorry that's the game, said the girl

She's my friend and I can't kiss her, he said

Why, asked the girl

I can't kiss her and he let go of Courtney, she looked at him,I can't

Isn't she your girlfriend, asked one of them

He looked at Courtney and smiled,no, she's my friend, she's only a friend to me

But you dated her, that means you love her, asked one of them

Yes I dated her and I loved her but only as a friend and Courtney looked at him surprised, yes, she's only a friend to me, when I said I loved her,it was only as a friend when I dated her it was only as a friend,he said as everyone looked confused

She was the one who taught me, love was meaniless, she taught my biggest mistake was falling in love
Jason, Courtney said quietly

Yes,I loved her but now I realize now, my three biggest mistake was meeting her and giving love a chance then falling in love with her and my biggest mistake out of them, meeting her

Tears fell from Courtney eyes, Jason, Jason, you can't mean what you are saying, she said quietly and tears continued falling from her eyes

Jason looked at the tears, your tears can no longer work on me,I was a fool then,you have opened my eyes,thank you,he said and walked past her and out of the door

Courtney fell on the floor and cried
