Dirty Little Secret

Thomas nathan and christopher

I woke up my head spinning and my body swaying

"Why is it so dark" I murmured

"ON NO IM STILL IN THE BARREL" I shouted

"I need to get back to the bar so I can clean up that mess before the boss comes back tomorrow" I sighed trying to move the lid of the barrel

It won't budge

Something must be weighing it down

I leaned back and kicked the top as hard as I could but still nothing happened
TIME SKIP

THUMP THUMP

I heard the loud putter patter of footsteps draw closer to the barrel

Followed by slight humming

"Hmmm hmm hm hmm hmmm"

"A person perfect" I said to myself

"HEY HELP PLEASE" I shouted hitting the side of the barrel

"Aaaaah" I heard a scream

And a loud thud as if someone had fallen down

"B...b..b..barrels....dont..talk"

"NO im in side the barrel" I hollered back trying not to scare the person off before I was freed

"Man what did Nathan put in the eggs" I heard him say from the other side of the barrel obviously no longer listening to me

"HEY REMEMBER ME GIRL IN THE BARREL HERE" I yelled

"AAAH now the barrels angry at me...im sorry demon barrel"

"Demon barrel....you dunce I'm inside the barrel for the last time"

"........and I'm not a demon" I added

"Oh....inside the barrel" he sighed

"Can you please let me out" I shouted so he could hear me

I heard the putter patter of feet for a brief moment and then the pop of the lid as it opened

Revealing a boy with red hair and a sweet face

"Oh you really are....a woman" he said.

"Yeah but maybe i lied about being a demon" I said jokingly

He pulled out a wooden sword and quivered "are you really a demon"

"No" I replied

Walking past him ignoring the
Wooden sword

"Thomas how long does it take ya to bring me the damn..." a man with a bandanna wrapped around his head with blonde hair sticking out walked down the stairs

He stopped mid sentence when he saw me

"S,.sorry Nathan i think I was out in the sun to long"

"Im hallucinating a woman right now" Thomas whispered leaning closer to Nathan

So his name his Nathan

"Not a hallucination" I said

"Who are you what did you come to steal" Nathan asked pulling out a sickle and chain and getting into fighting stance

"Steal I wasn't going to steal anythi...."

I was cut off as Nathan grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder

"HEY PUT ME DOWN" yelled

"Shut up" Nathan snapped

He kicked the door of a room open

There were shelves lined with medications and herbs

Is this some sort of infirmary

"How many times have I told you stop kicking my door" a man said

Nathan swung me down into a chair across from a man with dark brown eyes and black hair wearing a bewildered expression

"You got a patient christopher" Nathan said before leaving slamming the door shut behind him

"Ummm..uh" Christopher's eyes were wide and shocked

"Hello?" I said snapping my fingers in front of his face

"Oh sorry I um just uh how did you uh get here" Christopher asked

"It's a long somewhat embarrassing story" I said rubbing my head

"Oh....your pretty cut up" he said referring to the cuts on my arm cheek and the bruise on my head

He took out a bottle of rubbing alcohol and tabbed a cloth in it

"Hold still a moment" he requested bringing the cloth to my cheek

I put my hand up stopping him

"Sorry but I'm fine I don't need help" I said

He looked at me weirdly a moment "oh I see"

"I'm going to go explain our situation to cap..." he started to say but I cut him off

"Sir sorry but I do not have time for this I'm afraid I have to return to my post at my work if you could just point me in the direction of gen street"
I said

"See we might have a bit of a problem there" Christopher replied

"Oh do you not know that street.....thats okay I'll figure it out then" I said heading towards the door

"No that's not it" Christopher said

I ignored him and opened the door walking out a gust of strong wind hit me

And the smell of the ocean followed

I gasped as I realized

"HOLY FATHER OF THE SEA IM ON A BOAT"
