The rest of the crew

"This is not happening it's not happening" I said over and over

I ran to the railing of the deck and peered over the edge into the water

"NOOOOO" I yelled

Ignoring a bunch of stares targeted at me coming from a table on the farther left of the deck

I paced back and forth

"How could i be such an idiot"

"Stupid stupid stupid" I shouted hitting my forehead

I stopped and turned halfway around to were a group of people were stating wide eyes at me

"WHAT ARE YA LOOKING AT!!!!!!" I
yelled my hands balled into fists

"WHAT NEVER SEEN A WOMAN COME OUT OF A BARREL AND START YELLING AT THE WATER" I shouted

"Ugh i swear this may just be the most idiotic and repulsive situation I've gotten myself into" I shouted at myself

"Guys this is our guest she has......had a pretty rough day" Christopher said standing n front of me acting as if I wasn't yelling at myself behind him

"Is she okay....seems a little you know" a familiar looking blonde haired green eyed fencer said swirling his finger next to his head saying "cuckoo cuckoo"

"Be nice Russell" Christopher said

"Why be nice to her" the same gent with an eyepatch from earlier said

"Eduardo" Christopher said in a scolding tone

I stopped pacin

All of them stopped staring at me and started to stare at Christopher as he explained what happened

Except for one persons eyes

He had long brown hair and a red hat

He must be the captain

"Wait I'm on water I can just swim back....or you know die trying" I said to myself

I walked over to the railing of the boat and stood up on the edge

No one noticed

I was just about to jump

"Sorry Christopher hold that thought......young lady before you leave us so soon....care for a glass of wine" the long brown haired man asked

He noticed I was going to jump into the water

Everyone's eyes turned to me

"Um no thank you even as a waitress and bartender I can't report to work under the influence" I replied and started tilting backwards

"Woah are you crazy get down from there" Christopher said grabbing my wrist stopping me from tilting any farther back

"Wait what happened to the cut on your cheek" Christopher asked "its gone"

"Told you.,,cuckoo" Russell said

I hopped off the railing and marched over to the table slamming my hand down onto the table

"What was that" I sneered leering at Russell

He jumped back in his seat

"Nothing" he said quickly

"Pfft" Eduardo chuckled

"Leave it to Russell to be scared of some woman" Eduardo said

"What to do with her now though perhaps we could sell her at the next port" he chuckled evily standing up and walking around me inspecting me

I stood there growling

"Feel like I'm being circled by a shark" I said under my breath

"Or maybe we should just toss her in the water let her be swallowed by the sea" Eduardo said

"I vote for option two" I said smiling coldly

He seemed a bit shocked I had said that

"What no no we are not throwing her in the ocean selling her at the port or anything like that" Christopher said

"No it's okay I gotta get back to work any way so I'd better get swimming" I said heading to the railing but Thomas stopped me

"Miss you can't do that"

"It's quite all right.....ive done similar things before" I said mumbling at the end

"HAHHAHAHA" captain guffawed

Stopping all the chatter he walked over to me setting a hand on my shoulder

"You know you've got the soul of out new crew mate"

"HUH?!?!?!!" Everyone including me shouted

"Crew mate" I repeated

"Yup welcome aboard I'm captain morgan" captain said

"And you are" he asked

"Getting the hell out of here" I said running to the railing or at least attempting to but captain still had his hand on my shoulder preventing me from running

"Oh don't be stubborn" captain laughed heartily

"What's yer name" he asked

"Opal"

"Well Op welcome to the Sirius crew" he said

I stood shocked and slightly angry for a moment

But I started to think to myself

This could be a cool change of pace and who knows........maybe I can find out some intel on my fathers whereabouts

"Ok" I said to myself captain was standing laughing next to me

I grabbed one of his hands

And shook hands with him

"It will be a pleasure to work along side you all" I said

He seemed shocked I had shaken hands with him

I let go and turned to the rest of the crew bowing to them

"I hope to be a useful crew mate" I said

"We do have a slight problem" captain said

"What is it" I asked

"I'm afraid we don't have enough space so you'll have to share a room with one of our other crew mates anyone you have in mind" captain asked

I looked over the group

Who should I choose
