Today was the first day at a new school. When people think of new schools they are all like, "Yay, fresh starts! I'm going to be so popular! I'm going to get three boyfriends and be president!" Unfortunately, I was not so optimistic. I had switched schools every year because my dad had to travel for work. Unfortunetly, every first day of school was a nightmare. I stopped caring what people thought of me because I knew I was going to leave the school at the end of the year. This year was different. My dad got a new job and now I am staying in San Jose for the rest of my life. I guess I have to start caring about what people think if me.

"Goodbye honey! Have a nice day! Try to make some friends, or maybe a special friend if you know what I mean!" Yells my father. I quickly exit the vehicle so nobody sees me. The San Jose Junior High or SJJH, was a decent looking school! Maybe I can start a new life here. "Look at the puny new kid," yells a tall muscular boy at the entrance doors, "Do you need your daddy to help you make friends?" A group of girls surrounding him starting laughing in those annoying cheerleader laughs. As I approach the entrance I decide to not let my reputation lower in the first 45 seconds of school. I walk over and push the kid onto the ground and say, "Do you need your dad to help get you off the floor?" He just stares at me while I walk away. I guess in this school, people don't stand up for what they want.
