Practically Famous

The next morning, I got to school early to have breakfast with Micky, Ryan, James, P.J, and Adam. We decided to all go to the locker halls to get our books early for class. When we arrived, people were smiling at us and trying to take pictures of us. People who I had never noticed started talking to me. It was literally the weirdest thing that had ever happened. Then it got weirder, Brian started flirting with me.
"Uh hey Skylar, you are a really good singer. I like that in a girl. Maybe we could hang out some time." Said Brian.
His cheerleader possy began to look a little jealous. Then, Britney came up to me.
"Hey gurl, your cool. Like the mall is cool. You plus the mall on Friday with me and the girls. We need to fix you up before you become really famous.
"Um Skylar?" Questioned Adam, "What the heck is going on?"
"I have no idea," I said.
Everyone started huddling around us and chanted "MAROON 5, MAROON 5!"
Then it hit me. Last night I had posted a video of us singing together. I quickly opened my phone and checked out how many views it got. 3 million?!
"Adam, I may have posted a video of us singing last night"
He didn't here me. He was too busy flirting with a bunch of cheerleaders. Micky and P.J were hanging out with some football boys. Maybe stupid was a bad word to call our band. Hmmm, maybe I should call it FREEKING AWESOME!

The next few months were awesome. We were playing gigs at local restaurants and cafes. We even played a song for the mayor. We made a bunch of money selling C.Ds and Audio Music. I made a savings account for the band and I so we could by new equipment. Things in my future were looking very good.

-Loud, Furious Beeping-
My alarm showed 7:00. I got up and put my robe on. My dad was surprisingly not up yet. I was sure he was fine, but I checked in him anyway.

"Dad," I yelled, "Look, I want to sleep in too but life sucks sometimes. He wasn't responding.
"Dad?"
I quickly ran over and shook him.
"Oh my Gød, dad, dad, dad!!!??"
He wouldn't budge!
