PAIN WAS A FEELING MORE COMPLEX than one would assume. Sure — pain is pain. It hurts. But, with nearly everything in life, there is a deeper understanding behind it. Ben would know.
If one were to ask him to describe pain, his immediate response would be that it's a hard feeling to describe. That's because it is to him. If one were to keep pressing until he cracks, he'll say there's multiple levels to pain. Hurtful to Extreme. Yes, Ben knows that's what a lot of people think. Still in all, those levels are more complicated than that. There's something else to pain that Ben will never be able to find the words for, maybe eventually.
