"So.........where are we headed first?" I asked her beautiful big emerald eyes. I have to admit for a person whose father was rough looking, Zenovia's princess was breathtakingly beautiful.
Although she needs to work on that nasty attitude and anger.
"We're headed into town first and then Diyala."
Did she just say what I think she said!?! Diyala is the last place she should be wanting to go right now considering her country is at war with them as we speak.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
"You don't have to come," she said coldly.
"I want to come, it is my duty to protect you!"
"NO! It is NOT 'your duty' to protect me!" She huffed. "Like I told you before I can protect myself and you do not have to come!"
"Fine so be it.........but your not going alone, I rather not start a war between our countries. We already have enough of this nonsense."
I said the last part low thinking of my countries war history and my sisters death.
As we started walking I felt her gaze piercing through my soul. Tried to ignore it but her eyes were starting to glow and then I realized she was using her dragon vision to analyze me.
"I know I'm attractive and irresistible and all but did you really have to go into dragon vision?"
Her cheeks became a fire engine red.
"As if! I was just analyzing your weakness just in case you try to turn on me one of these days." She replied hotly.
She stormed in front of me and watched her switch through the woods. As she was walking I couldn't help but appreciate the view. Her nice lovely legs and full round ass.
Damn it!
Keep it together. Just protect your allied country's prized possession.
I reminded myself.
As we arrived into the town Xenon pulled up the hood of her cloak. I see that was clever so maybe I should do the same. She motioned me toward her and asked me a question that didn't quite get through because I was mesmerized by her beautiful emerald eyes.
"Mateo! Did you hear what I said?"
"I'm sorry what?!"
"I asked if you had bought any money to last you."
"Ah, yes of course.......why? Did you?"
" Of course I did I was just making sure .........we'll have to ration out our money to last us meals and supply"
"let's go", I said flashing a bright smile.
Surprisingly she smiled back.
"Alright then, let's go," she smirked.
