- a child that was picked up from a slum in Japan ( not Suribachi City ) to be experimented on for inputting artificial supernatural abilities, and to be tested on for immortality

- the first time their ability activated was during a test in the facility, their hand was chained inside of a room where it was all mirrors, which resulted in continuous traveling through both realms, with no end. the room got too warm from the light emitting from the ability after 6-7 hours then all the mirrors in the room shattered at once. when three scientists got to the room, the chains were unshackled and the child was missing. only then they were attacked by said child with a piece of broken glass, harming them in various ways until they were on the verge of death, y/n passed out due to excessive exhaustion. the three lived but were unable to work anymore so was killed to keep their mouth shut.

- after the incident, the people in the facility agreed to inject multiple doses of anesthesia to their body, putting them to temporary sleep in a container of water.

I had reached a crater.

A slum people called it.

A city was built in it.

I felt a sense of familiarity in this place. I didn't know why.

I walked deeper into the crater. Exploring if there was someone I knew...probably not. Maybe someone who at least knows me I guess.

I saw some children run by me, before halting abruptly, turning around.

Nonetheless, I continued on strolling.

"Who are you?" one of them spoke. I halted.

Without turning around, I spoke loudly so they could hear, "I am nobody you should know of. Although, may I ask where am I?"

There was a slight silence before another responded hastily, "You are in Suribachi City..."

Suribachi City.

I threw them some coins before continuing on walking without a word.
The children had started to gleam over it.

I made my way halfway through the city, now known as Suribachi City.

I had remembered Mori telling me something about how a large explosion occurred and this city was formed.

8 years ago.

CRASH

"-uicidal brat?"

I walked closer to the sound. Making sure my footsteps were quiet.

"You're a brat too."

"I'm not just any brat, unlike you."

"Tell me about this 'Arahabaki' you are looking for."

Arahabaki.

That sounded familiar too.

Oh well. It's none of my business.

I started walking away from the commotion. As if yet again, more crashing and loud sounds had erupted once more. I didn't want to get into any messy business this time.

I had decided to end my trip here, seemingly as if everything is hopeless and I would find nothing but oxygen here.

Halfway through the trip, I had the sudden urge to quickly travel to the mirror dimension.

A bad feeling as if something were about to happen.

I looked around and saw an almost dried up muddy puddle.

I took off a glove and touched it with haste.

Next thing that happened, was an explosion, an ear-deafening one.

There was a figure in the center of the explosion. But blinded by light, I couldn't make out its appearance.

Since I were in the mirror realm, I'd decided to travel here instead.
