(Going to be modern but not at the same time.)
I was sitting down reading a book on my phone, with my headphones in blasting music. My little brother was watching demon slayer, and I honestly did not give two shits. My brother would not stop singing the intro and outro of the show, so I turned up my headphones. I frowned when I realized my headphones were on full blast, I swing my legs over. Standing up and walking out of our room, I close the door and walk to my moms room. Laying down next to her, "hi mom." She gave me a smile, "hi child." I get under the covers and cuddle my mom, something we do occasionally.
We started watching a murder show when my brother walked in, "mom I'm hungry." My mom rolled her eyes, " no your name is jack, hungry is a country." He gave her a glare, earning a small chuckle from me. "Make yourself some food you're not crippled." Jack gave me a glare, "oh shut up." I rolled my eyes, "go make your self dinner estupido." My mom looked at my brother and I, glaring at us. "Ash, dont talk to your brother like that. Jack dont tell your sister to shut up."
My brother walked back to his room to watch more Demon Slayer, and I continued watching murder shows. My eyes started to flutter close, "night mom." I then remembered she was passed out. Oh well. My eyes closed and I quickly fell asleep.
I opened my eyes to see I was outside a town, I rubbed my eyes. I stand up and look around, where the hell am I? I walked into the town to see it was a small town, not a lot of people walking around. I walked up to a woman, "excuse me. Where am I?" She gave me a confused look, like she didnt know what I was saying. I looked down at my clothing to see I was not in my pajamas, but in a red kimono with black and white flowers.
My eyes widen and I quickly walk away, where am I? I turn my head and looked around, then bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry." The person turned around to be a boy with maroon like hair. He had a scar on his forehead and wore a green and black checkered thing. "Are you ok miss?" I froze, What the fuck. Did he speak Chinese? No Korean? Japanese? I dont even know any more!
I take his hand in mine, "I don't understand you. But I dont know where I am, its obvious you dont understand me." He still looked at me confused and pulled his hand away, "welp I tried." I walked away ashamed, going back to where I woke up. Once there I sat down on a near by rock, putting my chin in my palm. "Am I dreaming?" I pinched myself to see if I was, and it hurt like a bitch.
Ok not dreaming, I let out a sigh. I looked to the sky to see it was dusk, about to be night. "Oh shit where am I going to sleep tonight!" I heard the movement of grass and gravel next to me, so I turned my head. "Holy shit micheal jackson!?" The stranger gave me a weird look. "Oh I'm sorry!" I quickly looked down, no person here is going to know micheal jackson! Hes not even born yet!!! "Arent you suppose to be in the village?"
I froze, "wait. You know english?" I stand up and walked over to the strange micheal Jackson looking man, which gave me a nod. "Can you help me? I need a place to stay tonight and no one here knows english, I'm seriously struggling." He stood there, clearly thinking. "Actually never mind, you're probably trying to go somewhere. Sorry for bothering you." I turned around about to walk away, when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "I'll help you, I'm muzan kibitsuji."
Oh shit I'm in Japan, well looks like I'm making up a name. "I'm Okazi Febe, nice to meet you muzan." We walked into town, "where are you trying to go?" I sighed, "I don't know anymore. I dont even know how I got here, I tried to get help earlier but no one understood me. Luckily you came along, I was most likely going to sleep outside and get eaten or something."
"Do you believe in demons Okazi?" I shrugged, "depends on what you think a demon looks like. Does my grandma count? Cuz if so, she's satan himself." He looked at me confused, "oh sorry. She's just a real bi- I'm sorry. I dont know if your fine with me cursing or not!"
"Its fine, I dont mind." I smiled, "ok. Good to know." I soon noticed that we were going up a mountain, and its getting cold. "This kimono is not cutting it for this cold."
"Where are you from?" I started to think, I cant say the u.s. "I'm from... the new world." He locked at me confused, "the new world?" I nodded, "yeah that new land that Columbus discovered." He still looked at me confused and gave me a you're stupid look, "anyways. Oh, about demons. What would they look like here?" He stayed silent for a little bit, "they look like people. Maybe with a few or less parts, but they crave human blood."
"Wait really? So they're like vampires? Like they just suck the blood out of someone until they die?" He shook his head, leaving me disappointed. "They eat people, but they cant go out in the sun." I cross my arms, "makes sence. It would be weird to see a random guy in the middle of the day devouring someone." I see a light up a head, muzan stops. "Wait here until I'm done, I have something to do." I shrugged, "sure thing."
He walked to the house, I waited, shivering. I soon heard a screams, my eyes widen. I was about to run over to the scream, but stayed put. "This some white people shit, everyone knows you run away and never look back." I was going to walk away, when the screams continued. Soon, they come to a complete stop. I was hugging myself, is muzan ok?
I soon heard the crunching of snow, I turned to see muzan. I smiled but soon smelled something metallic, then saw muzan covered in blood. I froze, "are you alright okazi?" I shrugged, "yeah no. Totally fine, it's not like I see a guy I trust covered in blood after I heard the screams of people. Totally fine, nothing to worry about." I looked up at him, how did I not notice he had red eyes. "So, are we going to talk about how you are most likely a demon? Or are you going to kill me..."
"I'm surprised you notice, normally people dont." He now stood infront of me, no emotions showed on his face. "Look man, I just want to go back home. But that's not possible because my house isnt a walk, hop, and skip away." I looked at my fingers to see they were red, almost purple. I was still shivering, damn it. "I'm cold as hell, if you're going to kill me just do it." He walks past me, "why would I do that?" My eyes widen, I walked after him. "Shit, I'm tired as hell."
"I know somewhere you can stay, but once we get there, I'm going to leave." I nodded, and we continued down the mountain. Occasionally we would talk, not for to long though. We soon arrived at a house and the couple let me spend the night free of charge. I layed down on the futon, and close my eyes.
I opened my eyes to see I was back at my house, in my moms bed. HOLY SHIT IM BACK! I get out of the bed and go to the kitchen, there I saw my mom making lunch. "Morning sleepy head, howd you sleep?"
"I had a weird dream where I was in Japan and was lost, 0 out of 10. Do not recommend, but that does remind me. I'm going to start learning Japanese." My mom looked at me confused, "why japanese?" I shrugged, "I already know spanish and Norwegian. Why not a third language."
I heard my brother singing that stupid intro again, and I walked into our room. "Estupido ciata, ugh." I looked at the tv to see Muzan, I froze. "Hey jack, who is that?" I shrugged, "oh its Muzan. The demon king, he like masicured Tanjiros family. Tanjiros family lives in the mountains and he comes back to see everyone dead." I froze, "oh um. L, loser." I walked out and went to the restroom, closing the door. I looked myself in the mirror, WHAT THE FUCK!
I stared at my self freaking out. I put my hands on the counter and my head was hung low, I looked at my fingers to see they were red. My fingers felt numb, like they were cold. My eyes widen, it wasnt a dream. But how am I back here?! I sighed and took out my phone, downloading a Japanese learning app.
For the rest of the day I practiced my Japanese, and start to watch Demon slayer on my own. I soon learned basic questions and answers and sentences in Japanese, and got to the episode where Tanjiro and Nezuko are with urokodaki. I let out a yawn and checked the time, "11:45. It's that late out? Oh well, might as well go to sleep." I didnt feel like walking over to the couch, so I put my head down on my desk and passed out.
I woke up to talking, and sat up. I looked around to see I was back in the small house from the couple, I sighed. I stand up and put on my kimono, and walking out. There I saw the couple farming and...Tanjiro! The guy I called a loser for his family dieing! I sighed, I walked up to him. "You kamado Tanjiro?" He turned his head to me and nodded, "wait. You're the girl from yesterday." I nodded, "I dont know Japanese well. I speak english." He gave me a surprised look, but nodded and gave me a smile.
"Mind if I join you?" He gave me a smile, "no not at all." I smiled back and helped him carry the bamboo and basket back to a cave, where his sister Nezuko is. I helped him cover the basket so no sunlight can go through, and helped him make her bamboo muzzle. "Thank you for helping." I smiled, "I'm happy to help. We are friends!" I cringed at what I said, yeah we're probably not.
He set the basket in front of her, "Nezuko. Think you can fit inside? I want to keep moving during the day, too. I'll carry you ok? Can you fit? In here? Basket." She crawls out of her little whole and head dives into the basket, not fitting at all. I let out a little giggle, she was so cute. "Nezuko, remember when you became big like last time? Do you think you can do the opposite? Get smaller? Come on Nezuko, get smaller for me."
She immediately shrieked and sat up, Tanjiro smiled. "Good job! That's a good girl nezuko, I'm impressed!" I slightly cringed, nezuko is a girl. Not a bitch, she maybe a demon but not a bitch. He closes the top and puts his arms through the straps, carrying the basket like a backpack. "Ready to go?" I nodded and we walked out of the cave, going down a trail. "I just realized, we've been together all day and I never got your name."
I heard name in the sentence so I assumed he wanted to know my name. " "I'm Okazi Febe." I gave him a smile and we continued our walk, occasionally I would ask questions about his life and he would ask about mine. I soon remember his family, how they were all slaughtered by a man I talked to just because he knew english.
" i want to apologize kamado." He looked at me confused, "for what? You did nothing wrong?" I shook my head, "not true." I let out a sigh, "how am I going to tell you this. You're probably going to hate me, luckily you cant understand me right now cuz I'm speaking English. I díos mio, ok. I know about your family, how they died."
His eyes widen, confused and shocked from the news. "I'm sorry I couldnt help, I heard screams. But ran, scared for my life. If I was there, I might have done something." I looked at him with a guilty face, I was only lieing a little bit. But, if I persuaded muzan to not go on the mountain. His family would still be alive. I looked down in guilt but felt a hand patting my head, I looked up to see Tanjiro giving me head Pat's. "To be honest, If they weren't my family. I might have ran too, you dont have to apologize for a normal instinct."
He gave me a small smile, clearly hiding his pain. I gave him small smile too, "thank you kamado." He removed his hand from my head and we continued our walk, soon seeing a woman farming with her children. I stayed on the trail while Tanjiro walked closer to the lady for directions, it sucked not understanding most of what they're saying.
We continued up a mountain, it was getting dark very quickly. I continued talking to Tanjiro and he helped me learn a few words, which was very helpful. It was now dark and Nezuko got out of the basket, walking along side Tanjoro and I. Nezuko was so cute and adorable, I wanted to squeeze her little cute cheeks.
We saw light up ahead, tanjiro smiled and I frowned. "There's a temple over there and the lights are on which means someone must be there, let's check it out." His eyes widen with fear, "I smell blood! Someone must be hurt!" He and nezuko rushed up the stairs and I quickly followed behind, for some reason this is very easy. I normally get winded while climbing the stairs, huh.
We got to the door of the temple and tanjiro slams the door open, "are you alright? Ah!" There infront of us was the temple demon, devouring humans. Tanjiros basket dropped and rolled into the temple, making the demons head turn to us. "What the hell? This is my turf. If you break into my territory, I'll make you pay!" I looked at Nezuko to see her salivating underneath her muzzle, not moving.
The demon stood up and turned to us, "huh? There's something off about you, are you three human?" Tanjiros eyes widen in surprise, I just stood there, concerned for our safety. The demon charged at us, I dodged out of the way. Tanjiro got knocked down the stairs all the way to the bottom, taking out his axe as quick as he can and slicing the demons neck.
Tanjiro and the demon landed on their feet, they started talking but I couldnt hear what they were saying. Not like I would understand most of it already, but I know this part already. I turned to Nezuko, who was still salivating. I approached Nezuko, slowly wrapping my arms around her and giving her a tight hug. "Nezuko, Tanjiro needs you. Go help him."
Her eyes widen and she looked up at me, pulling out of my arms and running down the stairs of the temple. I reached the doors intime to see Nezuko kicking the demons head off, I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. Once at the bottom of the stairs, the body of the demon was on the ground. "N-nezuko..." I looked at Tanjiro, he was lying down on the ground. I ran over to him and kneeled next to him, "what happened?" I know what happened, just playing my part.
"You bastards!" We turn our head to see the demon head still talking, making Tanjiro yell in surprise. "One of you is a demon after all? You gave off such a weird vibe! What's two humans and a demon teaming up?" The body got up and ran to Nezuko, jumping up and giving weak kicks. The demon kept attacking her, I felt my eyes feel heavy.
I looked at Tanjiro who was clearly angry and worried for his sister, "stop it!" Tanjiro stood up and grabbed his hatchet, swinging at the body. I started to get really sleepy, and I collapsed to the ground. Maybe a little nap wont hurt, just a small one.
I woke up at my desk, I lift my head up and my Japanese notes stick to my face. I peel them off and set them down, ugh my head hurts. I walked over to the bathroom and saw a small scratch on my head, what the hell? I sighed and grabbed a hand towel, turning on the faucet and putting a little water in it. I bring the towel to the scratch and lightly wipe at it, wiping the blood up.
I put the towel in the laundry basket and exit the bathroom, going back to my desk. I packed all my things and put it in a bag, along with a bag of chips. "Hey mom, I'm going home! Love you!" I heard a small love you before I open the front door and walk out, going to my car. I unlocked my car and got in, putting the key in and turning the engine on.
I get home to my shared house with my dad, he was at work. I walk in and close the front door, going straight to my room. I set my stuff down on my bed and pulled out my notes, turning on my laptop and continuing my work. Having demon slayer play in the background, sometimes I would take a break and watch more of it then my Japanese.
After 4 hours, I know more words and know how to speak more sentences. I looked at my tv to see that Tanjiro was in final selection, killing demons. I get hungry and pause my show, going to the kitchen. When I get to the kitchen, I see a box on the counter. There was a note infront of it, from my dad. He told me how I might like the series, I shrugged and opened the box.
There, all of the demon slayer manga series sat. My eyes widen, holy shit dad. I pick up the box, which was really fucking heavy. I get to my room and set it down, taking out the stacks of the books and putting them on my bookshelf. Next to my other manga books like Bnha, beastars, HunterxHunter, and maximus ride. I sit down and unpause the episode, laying back in my bed.
I soon heard the front door open, I turned off my tv and exit my room. Seeing my dad at the kitchen counter, "hola papa." He gave me a smile, "hola. Como estas?" I sighed "mal."
"Por que?"
"Consado." He just rolled his eyes playfully, "your spanish is getting better."
"I guess, I'm trying to learn Japanese right now." He turned to me confused, "why?"
"I'm thinking about going to japan in the future. Not quite sure yet." He rolled his eyes playfully, "I'm going to take a shower, then make dinner. I'm thinking sirloin?" I nodded and walked over to our seasoning cabinet, opening it and pulling out the seasoning.
I pull out the plates, silverware, tongs, and baking sheet. I go back to my room and look at my bookshelf, maybe another day. I lay back down on my bed and watch more of demon slayer, soon getting to the end of final selection. I liked Tanjiros character so far, and Nezuko was so cute! I want to squish her adorable cheeks, she's so far my favorite character.
"Foods ready!" I turn off my tv and go to the kitchen, there I see my dad putting a steak on his plate along with some A1 sauce. I grabbed the last plate and grabbed the tongs, putting the last piece of steak on my plate. I grab a fork and knife and go to the living room, grabbing a small foldable table and walking to my spot on the couch.
While we were eating, we were watching cowboy bebop. A normal thing we do, sit on the couch and eat while watching tv. I finished my steak and washed my dish, putting it in the dishwasher. I looked at the time, "shit it's already 10?" My dad yawned, "no wonder I'm tired." I rolled my eyes and walked to my room, "Buenos noches papa!"
"Buenos noches." I enter my room and close the door, I lay down on my bed and put my phone on the charger. I put in my password and go onto my reading apps, and soon on discord to talk to my friends. I sent some funny memes to them and joked around.
I looked at the time to see it was 12, should probably go to sleep. I turned off my phone and put it down beside me, I pulled my blanket over me and started to fall asleep. I wonder if I'll wake up at the temple?
I open my eyes to see I was not outside on the ground by the temple, instead I was laying down on a futon. Looking up at a wooden ceiling, where the hell am I? I sit up, looking around. Next to me was a sleeping Nezuko, "you're finally awake."
I jumped a little to see Urokodaki, with his weird emoji like mask. "Yes sir. Where am I?"
"You're on Mt Sagiri, in my home." My eyes widen, "wheres Kamado? Is he ok? Wheres the demon?" He put his hand up, signaling me to stop. He points over to a wall where a sleeping and beat up Tanjiro layed, asleep. "Let's talk outside." I nodded and stood up, following him outside.
We start walking up the mountain, "Tanjiro was worried about you. He told me you passed out while fighting the demon." I nodded, "I would like to apologize first because I dont understand Japanese that well, I only know English."
"Do you want to be a demon slayer okazi?" My eyes widen, do I? I looked down at my kimono, which was dirty. "I dont know, I'm living double lives right now."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Everytime I fall asleep, I come here. In this world, where demons exist. Theres no electricity and high technology, and I'm across the world. I dont even know what year it is, I'm not from here. But when I fall asleep here, i go back to my world. Where i have school and work everyday, and i have my family."
"Has this happened before?" I shook my head, "this all started three days ago. When I met Muzan, I didnt know anything. But he helped me, and I followed him like a lost puppy because he can speak english. I was there, when he killed Kamado's family. I wanted to help but I didnt know what was happening, so I stood where muzan left me until he came back."
"You were in contact with Muzan?" I nodded, now regretting meeting the micheal Jackson rip off. "I want to become a demon slayer, but I dont know how that would effect me in the real world."
"I'll send you to the demon slayer head courtiers, there you can talk to Ubuyashiki. I'll send him a letter, letting him know about your situation. You'll leave tomorrow morning for your journey."
"Thank you Orokodaki. This means so much to me." I soon realized we were back at the house, there Tanjiro walked out. "Okazi!" I ran over to him and gave him a hug, "Kamado are you ok?" He gave me a small smile, "I'm fine. But are you ok? You were passed out while I was fighting the demon, I had to carry you all the way here. Why did you pass out?" I shook my head, "I dont know. I'm sorry for scaring you like that."
I watched Tanjiro get trained by Orokodaki, right now I was wearing a shirt and baggy pants from Orokodaki, he went to a village and got them for me sence I was stuck in that stupid kimono. I go into the house and walk over to Nezuko, who was still passed out. I kneel down beside her, i cant believe she going to be asleep for two years. I run my hand through her hair, fixing any lose strands.
I stood up and walked back outside, there Tanjiro was swinging a wooden sword still. I walk up the mountain slowly, remembering how it was booby trapped. I heard rustling of bushes and turned, there I saw a rabbit jump out. I kneel down and held my hand out. Of course this was my first reaction with a rabbit, go down and pet the rabbit that might have rabies.
I stood up and walked away, back down the mountain. "I hope Tanjiro can make it through mentally for 2 years, I certainly wouldn't be mentally ok in his situation. I would be going through all of this soon, kinda mad at myself right now. I got down to the house to see Tanjiro done swinging his sword, I smiled.
I go into the house and lay down on my futon, "might as well sleep early." I closed my eyes, not really able to sleep because there was still light out. But soon I got comfortable enough and went to sleep.
I woke up in my bed, I checked the time to see it was 7. Oh shit I have work, I get up and get changed into my work outfit. I put my phone in my pocket and put my charger in my backpack, along with my headphones. I walk out of my room and to the kitchen, grabbing my keys. I walk out and get into my car, turning the engine on and pulling out of the driveway.
I arrive at my job which was a daycare, I hate kids but damn do they pay good. I get out of my car and lock it, entering the building. There i saw a fellow employee, at the counter on their phone like normal. I go to the employee room and set my stuff in my locker, closing it, clocking in, and walking back out.
I went into the playroom and saw another employee, cradling a baby to sleep. I take the little toddlers and bring them to the movie room, where the lion king was playing. I walked out and made some popcorn, putting them in bags and bringing it back to the movie room. I gave each a little bag of popcorn, then go to the back of the movie room.
Man taking care of little kids is hard, I pull out my phone and text my friends. Sending a meme of mufasa and saying long live the king, which my friends sent back more memes. Most of them were Kermit the frog, kermit the frog dieing.
After the movie ended I turned it off and stood up, "nap time everyone!" The little toddlers either yelled in excitement or screamed in anger, both pissed me off. I brought them to the naproom and put them all in the tiny sleeping bags and tiny beds, giving them their favorite toy. I turned off the lights and turned on the night lights, waiting for them to go to sleep.
Once they were asleep I walked out and go to the employee room, there I sat down on the couch next to an employee. "Taking a nap, it's my break." I closed my eyes and lay my head back, crossing my arms.
I woke up in the futon, "oh come on. Even when I'm napping?!" I sighed and got out of the futon, I looked to see everyone asleep. I stand up and walk out, it was dark out. I walked down the mountain until I reached a village, there everyone is alseep. I shrugged and walked around, soon hearing footsteps behind me. There stood a man with blond hair, holding a limb.
"What do we have here?~ A younger woman out after dark, didnt your parents tell you not to go out after dark?~" I froze, "holy shit." His eyes widen and a smile appeared on his face, "oh a foreigner~. You're the one he mentioned, how interesting~. You look like a demon but smell of a human, I could just eat you up~. I might but I dont want to piss him off, oh well~"
"And you are?"
"How rude of me, I'm Douma. And you are?~"
"Okazi febe"
"No wonder he took interest in you~ I'm surprised he didnt kill you on the spot, you're very lucky~"
"I dont mean to be rude, but I must go. I have somewhere to be, good night." I turned around and there he stood infront of me, "you cant leave yet, I have a whole bunch of fun things to do with you~"
"Nope sorry, I have to go." I tried to walk past him but he grabbed me by the shoulder, his nails piercing my shoulder. "I have to bring you to him~, he wouldnt be pleased if I come back empty handed~."
"Then that's your problem, good bye." I rush past him and ran as fast as I could, all the way back up the mountain. I started to get sleepy, no not yet. I have to make it back in time! I continued running up and by the time I saw the house in view, I drop to the ground and pass out.
I open my eyes and shoot up, "damn it." I stand up and stretch, walking out of the employee room and to the nap room. "Ok kids, nap time is over." I turn on the lights and turn off the night lights, the little children starting to wake up. An employee walked in with 3 parents, all coming to get their kid. Three kids ran up to their parent and they left, I looked at my phone. Only three more hours of this shit hole, just have to wait.
Finally I was done with work, I grabbed my things from my locker and clock out. I exit the employee room and exit the building, I enter my car and turn on the engine. I turn on my bluetooth and connect my phone to the car, going on my playlist and blast music. I pull out of the parking spot and drive home.
I get home and park the my car in the driveway, turning the engine off and getting out. I locked the doors and take out my house key, putting it in the lock and unlocking the door. I enter and walk to my room immediately, setting my stuff down. I walk out and go to the kitchen, there I was a note.
Looks like I'm fending for myself tonight, oh well. I open the pantry and grabbed instant ramen, taking the plastic off and filling it with water. I put it in the microwave, setting it for three and a half minutes. I pulled out my phone and looked through some of my social media apps, and the microwave starting beeping.
I got done eating and washing the dishes, now I'm reading in my room. I started to fall asleep while reading so I put down my book, turning the lamp beside me off. I pulled the covers over me, closing my eyes.
I opened my eyes to see I was in Urokodaki's house. I sit up, and stretch my arms. "Okazi! You're awake." I looked to my left, I saw a worried Tanjiro. "Kamado, what's wrong?"
"Urokodaki and I found you outside, we immediately took you in and tried to wake you up. You didnt budge, I thought you were going to be in the same position Nezuko is in." I looked down at the boy, and quickly pulled him into a hug. He gasp in surprise, but hugged back. "I'm sorry for scaring you kamado, I have a lot going on now. I will help your sister turn back into a human, you can count on me for that."
He pulled away from the hug and looked up at me, "thank you Okazi. You can all me Tanjiro if you want, I don't mind." I smiled, "you can call me Febe, Tanjiro." The boy gave me a smile, with a slight pink dusting his cheeks. "I need to go back to training!" He quickly gets up and rushes out the door, I looked to my right to see a sleeping Nezuko.
I grabbed my stuff and prepared for my long walk. I walked out of the house, there seeing Tanjiro swinging his sword. Urokodaki walked up to me, having a crow on his shoulder. "My crow will lead you to the demon slayer head courtiers. You may say you're byes before heading your way." I walked over to Tanjiro, who was done swinging his sword. He looked at me confused, and I engulfed him into a hug.
I pulled out of the hug and held one of his callused hands in mine, "this is goodbye for now Tanjiro. I hope to see you more often." The boy gave me a sad smile, "I hope we see eachother more often too." I pulled away and turned to Urokodaki, giving him a hug too. "Thank you for helping me Urokodaki, you helped me so much. You're like a dad to me."

I stood up straight and turned around, descending down the mountain. I get to the village, everyone was enjoying their day.
I continued to follow the crow, but it was getting night soon. "How much further?"
"Caw! We're almost there!"
"That's what you said an hour ago!"
"Caw! Stop whining!"
"You dumb crow! Did you forget I wasn't a demon slayer! You might as well be a dodo bird, they're the stupid birds I know. And that's what you're acting like!"
