Hidden secrets

Trapped... together.

Its been almost a month since the whole Amy incident, and the team are still not willing get back together. Tails is suffering from severe stress and Knuckles is always checking up on sticks. Sonic and shadow, well... its not been going so great. They haven't got much time to spend with each other. It seems Sonic is isolating himself from everyone he knows..... even the town is worried about him. tails still cares, though they may never be close like they used to.....

As sonic woke up, he stared at the ceiling with a vague expression on his face. He wondered what the day had in store for him. Will it be another fight, a Eggman attack?. Speaking of Eggman, hes been inactive since the fight, so it's unlikely that will happen. Quickly, he leaped out of his bed and opened the curtains. The town was concerned, too concerned. Everyone seemed to be panicking. This time, it wasn't Eggman. It was something else... Something you wouldn't see everyday. The sky was changing. It was changing to a dark/greyish fade. It was no storm, no natural disaster.... The sky itself was harnessing, something powerful. Could it be a portal..? One by one, peices of the land were dissolving. Meh burger, the grass, everything was going.. Suddenly, he saw Tail's house.. It was fading aswell... he had to warn him. At super Sonic speed, he ran to Tail's house and rang the doorbell. A few second's later, tails was downstairs, checking who couldve possibly rang the doorbell this early..As he peeped through the keyhole, he saw the Blue hedgehog, standing there, begging him to answer. Tail's shutted the door immediately, he ducked in utter shock. Sonic was at his doorstep!? Why!? After everything that happened.. Tail's stood up and opened the door. He glared at Sonic. In a vicious but surprised way.

"What do you want Sonic.?" Asked Tail's in a rough, stern way.
Sonic didn't make eye contact at that moment. He just stood there awkwardly like a lemon.
"Well.. I'm waiting..?" Tail's said in a sassy tone.
"Just look around.." Sonic muttered.
Tail's looked around, he could see the grass fading, the sky swirling and bizzare events happening.
"Wait a second.. Meh burger is gone.." Tail's said in utter confusion.
"Yes, everything is dissapearing, even abit of your house is gone.." Sonic said in a trembled voice.
"Sonic, the people.. They are being dragged.. In.. In..into.." Tail's stammered.
Sonic looked at him in a funny way, then turned around to see. His eyes widened, the people were being dragged into the sky. Tail's and Sonic both turned there heads to look at each other.
"I guess team Sonic will have to reunite, only for this occasion. Tail's said unwillingly.
"Your correct, let's try and save these people.." Sonic replied back.
"Wait! maybe...eggman can help. I'll try and save some people while ur gone" Tail's said with a timid look on his face.
"Even though he is the enemy we need his help more than ever, ok stay here and try your best to cover for me, I'll go to eggman."Sonic replied back
He then proceeded to dash, the world was falling apart, he knew everyone was relying on him to fix it. As he got to the door, he kicked it, making a big dent.
"Egg head, we need your help.!" Sonic said in a very awkward way.
Sonic, this whole sky thing, isn't my doing. I'm trying to figure out what's possibly going on" Eggman replied back.
Sonic gazed into his eyes. It seems Egg head doesn't have a bad yoke inside of him. He was actually telling the truth..
Eggman grabbed all his equipment.
"orbit, cubot come here!" Eggman demanded.
The two bots we're already there in a flash.
"We all know what's going on, so we tried doing some test ourselves. We found something, extraordinary." Orbot said
Eggman was a bit surprised, he thought those hunk of junks were totally useless.
"Show us!!" said the Hedgehog in a enthusiastic voice.
Orbot and cubot both pulled out a large paper, which showed a scientific diagram of what was going on. Someone or something has harnessed enough powerful energy to cause all of this.
Sonic's eyes widened,
"could it be... Amy...?" he said to himself.
Sonic grabbed the paper and ran faster than the speed of sound.
Eggman looked at the hedgog in the distance.
"You can come out now, shadow." Said Eggman in a cunning way.
Shadow slipped out of his hiding spot and turned to look at Eggman.
"So, shadow has your boyfriend made any enemys.?" Eggman said in a teasing way.
"HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!" shadow yelled while blushing really hard.
"Hm, if you say so." Eggman replied
Shadow then stared into space looking a bit down.
"Yes, he did. Its Amy rose.." shadow said while stuttering a bit.
Eggman looked at shadow in surprise.
"This is perfect! Amy rose is now a villain, there's no way Sonic will attack her! He would be to afraid!!" Eggman said with a optimistic look on his face.
"You fool, we will die, the whole world is falling apart.." Shadow said in a serious way.
"Look on our side, not one piece of land is gone. That fool Sonic didn't even realise that." Eggman said while cackling as if he was the wicked witch of the west.
Wait a second. Sonic and the team would've been sucked up by now, but I think they are still..
A crashing boom came, causing everything to turn white.

A few hours later..

Sonic woke up in horror, what happened and where was he? Sonic began to panic, he was stuck in a tight metal box with no room. He looked around to see shadow, still knocked out. It seems he got stuck here to. Sonic blushed redder than a rose. Shadow was close, too close.
"Hey please, wake up." Sonic said, while nudging him a bit.
Shadow eyes opened, he then stared in shock.
"WHERE ARE W-"
Shadow stopped speaking. He stared into sonics emerald eyes. Sonic blushed not knowing what to do.
"Shadow, I uh.." Sonic said awkwardly.
Shadow then gave a devious smirk.
Sonics whole face was burning red, his smile was so...
"Im not going to do anything to you, faker." He said soothingly.
At this point, sonic was burning up.
"Uhm...shadow."Sonic stuttered.
Shadow grabbed sonic, bringing him closer.
Sonic was about to collapse, hes never felt like this before.
"Sonic, is it possible you could use your speed to break this?" Shadow questioned,
Sonic gave all his might but it seems the metal box was too powerful.
"I cant.." sonic said in shock.
Shadow looked at him, also in shock. It reminded him of when they were enemies.

Flashback:

As sonic slid into the cave, he saw shadow.
"Shadow, what are you doing here!?" Sonic said in surprise.
"Piss of, blueberry." Shadow replied aggressively.
"That chaos emerald is mine!" Sonic said giving shadow an intense stare.
"I need it more than you blue hedgehog." Shadow snapped.
His red eyes glowed with rage. Sonic couldn't understand, he doesn't look like the type that wants ultimate power, there's something going on.
The cave began to close, it looks like they were trapped together...
