Be aware, my friend as I'm about to tell you a tale. If your heart is pure and can't handle the thought of internal organs getting ripped from the body, arms, and legs lying around still twitching with little life left; you can just click out and go on with your day uninterrupted. However, if you choose to continue, it might leave you feeling squeamish by the end; so remember, you've been warned.
This isn't a fairytale. There is no happy ending. This isn't a story about the undying love of a siren and a sailor. No description of love being like the flames of a fire that not even the strongest of winds and the heaviest of rain can not put out.
You've heard of sirens, right? The mystical creatures that wander the endless and unknown masses of water covering our planet. Have you ever thought about how big the ocean is? Your own existence is a small unimportant dot compared to what can be found in the depths of the water. Humanity has managed to go to space, yet more that eighty percent of the oceans remain unexplored. Have you ever wondered what lurks under the surface, in places we have never been?
You see, in our world sirens are shaped to be kind and loving in countless books. Well, too bad they are killing machines. The times they come to the surface are bad news for all ships alike. They lure you in and you get closer and closer and closer. You'll be given the gift of feeling unconditional love even though none of it will be genuine. Before you know it, you are at the bottom of the sea, being shredded to pieces, being eaten alive. At least you won't realize you are dying. You will die feeling loved, even though the only thing these creatures love about you is your flesh and bones. The sea is unpredictable and so is the moment when sirens can appear.
Their top half isn't just any woman. They hold a beauty unreachable by any human. A beauty no person can describe enough to do it justice. The mystical is too ravishing to sum up in words, you have to experience it yourself. Although it wouldn't be smart to wish so.
They have only one emotion running through their body, the desire to kill. Their cold hearts are barely beating. No one knows what it would take to make those hearts pick up the pace. Maybe they need someone to love them and not run away from fear.
Now, onto the question lingering in some of your foolish little minds. Is it possible for a siren to turn good? It has never been done so far as no one has dared to try.
