Time flys by, and before you even know it they're in the modern era, the battle between demons and humans had come to an end.

The demon slayer corps was disbanded, eventually tales of demons were believed to be fiction and the world grew ignorant to the past.

Many were lost and many suffered from demons, but finally the war was over thanks to the many people who fought with their lives, but of the main 9 hashira of the demon slayer cops, 2 were left.

The Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinaguzawa and the Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka were the last two left. In the battle against Muzan and his uppermoons the two of them had fought and survived, they lost many things important to them though.

The dead pillars consisted of the insect pillar, Shinobou Kocho, who died fighting against Uppermoon 2, the Stone pillar, Gyomei Himejima, who died shortly after fighting Muzan and Uppermoon 1, the Mist pillar Muichiro Tokito, who died fighting against Uppermoon 1, the Serpent Pillar, Obanai Iguro, who died fighting against Muzan and Uppermoon 4, the Love Pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji, who died fighting against Muzan after defeating Uppermoon 4.

The Flame Pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku, had died on a mission before the final battle, he died with a smile after being attacked by Uppermoon 3.

The Sound Pillar, Tengen Uzui, retired after his battle and eventual defeat of Uppermoon 6, seeing as he almost died in battle he retired shortly.

When the progenitor of demons had died, he had transformed a demon slayer by the name of Tanjiro Kamado into the next demon king, but, thanks to the medicine that reverted demons back into humans that was created by the brilliant minds of the Insect Pillar and a rouge demon by the name of Tamayo, Tanjiro Kamado had reverted back to being a human.

The poison was injected into him by a demon slayer known as Kanao Tsuyuri, the two demon slayers eventually got married and had children.

Since then, it has been many years since the final battle. The progenitor of demons has died, allowing all those wronged by him and his damned demons to move on to the reincarnation process.

"Muichiro-san! Muichiro-san! Let's go or else we'll be late!!" Called out a little girl, around the age of 8. Her black skirt accompanied by her white blouse and her black sailor accessory around her neck flew in the wind since they were a bit bigger on her.

"I'm coming, jeez [NAME]-chan you always do this, and then we end up arriving at school late because you keep talking to that lady at the restaurant..." replied a boy, not very tall and also looks to be the age of 8. He was hauling his black backpack on his back as he left the house.

"Oh, where's Yuichiro-san?"
"He left before us."
"Oh, okay, then it's just me and you today!"
She smiled with her eyes closed as they made their way down the sidewalk, hand in hand.

As they made their way to school a gush of cool air pushed passed them, revealing two demon slayers behind them, they looked at each other and smiled before eventually disappearing.
