"Wow, it's such a gloomy day.." could be heard in the form of a soft voice, one full of worry and concern. The voice came from [NAME] who was sitting on the roof of the Mist Pillar's estate, the air was cold and the sun was hidden behind thick clouds.

"Indeed.." was heard in the form of a more stern voice, one full of bluntness and obviousness. The voice came from the Mist Pillar himself Muichiro Tokito, who was sitting seiza style on the edge of the roof that belonged to the mist estate.

'Silence' dead silence was all that could be heard, you could hear a pin drop in this silence. Not even the soft songs of birds or the happy conversation of insects in the grass could be heard, time seemed to have stopped for today, as if the day would last an eternity.

As if the world had stopped to preserve the moment, the moment where the clouds had begun to clear and sunshine was peaking through the gaps.

The sun illuminated both of the people's faces who sat atop of the mist estate, they looked off into the distance hoping for a new beginning.

One of them however, would not get to see their beloved till the end, let alone tell their love of their feelings for them, it would hurt more than anything to see the other smiling softly while telling them of their love, if it could be called love at all.

It was more admiration than anything, according to his head. He downplayed the happy feeling whenever he was near her as him being at peace after drinking the tea she had always made, he downplayed the fuzzy warm feeling in his heart and face as him being in a warm environment.

When he had asked the love pillar about the feelings and things he felt and she told him, "You're in love!" He downplayed and ignored the woman.

He soon left the next day, heading to the swordsmith's village, he would soon regret it.

"Tokito-sama! Are you heading for the swordsmith's village?" Asked [NAME] her body covered with a light blue colored kimono, the kimono had [FAVORITECOLOR] and white mist patterns on it with her socks and feet planted on the ground of the mist pillar's estate.

[NAME] was carrying a small lantern, seeing as it was a bit dark inside the house due to the windows in the living area not being open. The light illuminated her smiling face, the smile held a bit of sadness and her eyes were slightly dilated and she had a soft smile adorning her features.

"Yes, I heard from a Kakushi that there was a secret weapon to help make swordsmen stronger so I'd like to check it out for myself." Muichiro said, in a soft tone as he placed his zori sandals on his feet, preparing to leave the estate to get to the swordsmith's village before nightfall.

"Well then Tokito-Sama, I wish you safe travels, and a speedy recovery with your memory loss and any bad things that may happen to you, after all you are important to me and many others.. what I'm trying to say is, I hope you're okay out there!"

Oh how he'll miss her words so, though he had yet to know it for himself. She walked the mist pillar out of the house as she took a good look at his face. They were the same age yet they were so different.

She then watched as he silently without another word, took off at a fast pace...
