My Dear Larissa Weems

Chapter 1-Nevermore

AN- this is my first fanfic so I hope whoever reads this likes it and I'm open to feedback/constructive criticism!

First day at Nevermore, your family drive up to the front of the mansion looking school. The wooden doors with little golden accents on them. As you step out of the car door a bubbly person comes towards me and my family. "Hey there Mr and Mrs Y/L/N! I see you've brought your daughter to learn with us!" The tall blonde woman states with her thick and beautiful British accent. Your mother swiftly replies "Ah yes well only the best for my only daughter" while speaking she decided to squish my cheeks. "Mother stop it please you're embarrassing me" you plead as she stops. Before you can speak again the tall blonde woman speaks "Well Y/N I'm Principal Weems and I'm here to look after you with the time you'll be here. To start off let's head to my office to sort out the paperwork". You, your mother and father all follow her through the main doors and to her office. On the way there you spot different pictures of the schools alumni. During the walk down you spot a picture of your parents and scoff slightly. Luckily nobody noticed.

We carried on till we hit a nicely furnished wooden door. "Miss Weems" is written on the door so I assume it's the principals office. "Well here we are" she states as she unlocks her office door. As soon as she opens it she lets all of us in and her last. The first thing you spot is the Medusa themed fire place then the nice velvet looking chairs around the desk. As you're admiring the room you're suddenly snapped out of my trance by a voice "Now take a seat everyone as there's a lot to discuss here". Everyone takes a seat while I'm in the middle of the three chairs in front of the desk. "Now I see here in our report you've been through 8 schools in the past two years. Is that correct Y/N?" You nod your head "None of them have been strong enough to keep me in" you state with a small chuckle afterwards. "The last one you got kicked out due to...castrating a student at that school?" You nod my head again but proceed to state "He deserved it. He shouldn't have messed with my brother". You look at your parents and both of them look proud with a hint of concern. Meanwhile Principal Weems looks mortified at your response. "So a trouble maker I see. Well I also see on your notes you have to have court mandated therapy sessions."

Your father suddenly butts in "So how would those work? Do you have a therapist in the school?". Miss Weems responds "There's a therapist in the neighbouring town of Jericho. Many of our nevermore students go there and swear by her. So trust me Mr and Mrs Y/L/N your daughter is in brilliant hands." Both of your parents let out a sigh of relief. Your mother perks up "now what about where she's staying? Oooh what about our old dorm would she be there?" You see a smile form on Principal Weems's face. "Of course it was already decided she would be in Ophelia hall. Now on that note I think it's time to see if her roomate is ready"

Now Principal Weems was taking you to meet your new roommate with both of your parents. As you're walking down all the halls you hear your parents and Miss Weems talking about their time together at nevermore. You roll your eyes at how pathetic it sounds. You didn't even want to be here. You're only here to please your parents. You're probably going to be gone by the end of the week. Suddenly you lose your train of thought and see we're at your new room. As Miss Weems opens the door you get a glimpse of the room. All you see is colour and it makes you want to throw up. "Now Y/N this is your new roommate Enid. Now Enid your job for today is help Y/N find her schedule and help her get settled in. Got it?" All you hear is Enid reply "Yes Miss Weems! I'll be right on it as soon as." Your new roommate turns to you "Oh god are you feeling okay? You look a little. Pale to say the least!". You retort saying "I'm allergic to colour. I break out in blisters and the most painful rashes you'll ever see." Enid looks confused but also with a look of concern.

However she has picked up on your uniform and how it's different. Your uniform is pure black with dark grey stripes instead of black and purple stripes of the normal uniform. You never wore colour not even once. After being introduced you noticed your family aren't here anymore and it's now only you, Enid and Miss Weems in the room. The silence is broken "Now I'm going back to my office. Enid go give Y/N the best nevermore welcome you can imagine! Now Y/N darling. Don't try anything stupid Ive got my eye on you." You feel something different at the word darling. You're not sure what the feeling is however it's made you feel warm and happy inside. You shove the sudden warmth away and proceed to carry on the day with an emotionless face.
