Separation-

Khun Gun arrived at the scene to find his son on top of another man. Gun came to his son to warn him that somewhere werewolves are close by and he might need to relocate to another safe house.

"What do you think you're doing?" Khun Gun step closer to his son.

"Nothing Ba." Vegas said as he didn't look his own father in the eye.

Khun Gun looked at Pete and back at his son with disgust.

"Nothing!? It didn't look like fucking nothing!" He shouted.

"Khun Gun sir-"

"Shut up! I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to my sad excuse of a son. You're wanted dead and you're out here sleeping with a pet!" Khun Gun shouted as he insulted Pete for calling him a pet.

Vegas head shot up as he didn't like what his father said about Pete. Vegas balled up his fist tightly as he wanted to hit his dad but he can't. Pete notices that Vegas is holding back.

"Get packing and go to the next safe house by tomorrow morning." Khun Gun said but not before he slapped Vegas hard across the face.

Leaving a speechless Pete in shock. Pete reached out his hand to want to comfort Vegas quickly stop him and he waved him off to not to worry about him.

"Ba, you can insult me all you want but don't call Pete a pet in front of me ever again." Vegas said as he stare dead at his father.

Vegas never said anything like this to his father's face before. What has gotten into him these days? Khun Gun was flabbergasted. He didn't think his son got so soft for a low life wolf. Khun Gun raised his fist and punch Vegas in the mouth. Vegas had a busted bottom lip from that impact.

"How dare you talk back to me? You wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for me. I would have told Kinn and all the wolves where you were and you would have been dead already but I didn't."

"I never asked for your help and I never asked to be your son!" Vegas shouted at his father.

Gun raised his fist as he punched Vegas to the ground. He kicked him aggressively in the gut over and over again. Pete couldn't watch this. He couldn't stand seeing Vegas like this.

"Enough! Don't hurt him anymore." Pete shouted and begged as he crotched down to Vegas to check on him.

"Stay out of this!" Gun shouted as he was about to kick Pete too but Vegas quickly pulled Pete in his arms as he took the kick for himself.

"Don't touch him! Only hurt me not him." Vegas warned as he protected Pete.

"I had enough of this bullshit! You both make me sick." Khun Gun said lastly as he walked off storming back to the boat.

He realizes he has better things to do then to worry about useless people. Vegas looked at Pete as he pet his hair and removed some of the tears from his eyes.

"Don't cry Pete." Vegas said in a hush tone.

"How can I not cry when your dad almost kicked you to death?" Pete cried as he couldn't hold back tears.

"I'm okay so don't worry but are you okay?" Vegas asked as he looked concerned for Pete.

"I'm fine but I'm more worried about you. I hate seeing you hurt Vegas." Pete admitted as he felt so heartbroken.

Pete knew Khun Gun was a horrible man but this was just too much. Pete now realized more than ever that Vegas is the strongest person he was ever seen because he has to deal with a horrible father like that.

"I promise I will never let anyone hurt you Pete. You're all I have." Vegas said as he kissed Pete on his forehead. A tear drop escape Vegas's left eye as he hold onto Pete tightly.

__
The morning soon came as Pete woke up. The last thing he remembered was Vegas slept beside him but he didn't see Vegas beside right where he left him. Pete was confused.

"Vegas....." Pete called out to him. He quickly got out of bed with barley a jacket on as he looked around the entire house.

Pete ran outside and saw Vegas with a bag around his back as he was approaching a motorcycle.

"Vegas!" Pete shouted as he ran up to him. "What are you doing?" Pete asked him.

Vegas looked at him sadly as he sighed and closed his eyes to prepare what he is going to say.

"I'm leaving. Kinn and his werewolf pack are after me. I need to escape far away." Vegas said plainly and Pete knew that already.

But Pete is more concerned why Vegas is just leaving without saying anything to him. Does he not care about how this makes Pete feel?

"What about us? How can you leave without telling me anything? I feel like you're trying to get rid of me." Pete admitted.

"I am! I am getting rid of you!" Vegas exploded at Pete. "Don't you get it Pete, I'm leaving you." Vegas said and Pete eyes started to water. He can't believe what Vegas is saying.

How could he just confess that he likes him less than 24 hours ago and now wants to leave him.

'No, I don't believe it.'

"You can't leave me. You promised that-"

"I know what I said but do you really believe we could have that kind of life? Open your eyes Pete! You want me to change and be your boyfriend but I can't!" Vegas yelled which caused Pete to snap and slap Vegas across the face.

"I fucking hate you!  What is wrong with you?! I should have never loved a guy like you!"

"Then go back. Leave me. Hate me. Everyone else does so what does one more person add up?"

Pete pushed Vegas hard over and over again until Vegas fell back on the hard concrete surface. Pete got on top of him as he punched Vegas across the face.

"Do something! Get mad and hit me back! Chain me up and lock me in the room! Call me your pet and that I am nothing more than just your pet! SAY  ANYTHING BUT DON'T LET ME GO!" Pete screamed in Vegas's face.

Vegas started to cry at Pete's outburst. He never seen Pete express and act like this before. It terrified him but it just showed that Vegas broke Pete so bad that he would rather be a Pet and stay by his side than being free from him.

Vegas broke him but Pete was already a broken boy already. Vegas was just the key to unlocking the beast inside him.

Vegas placed a hand onto Pete's cheek as he caressed it.

"Pete..... listen to me." Vegas coughed as he spit out the blood from his mouth.

Pete messed up his face pretty badly but he deserved far worse for how the way Vegas beat Pete before.

"I'm not leaving you because I don't like you anymore. I'm leaving you to protect you." Vegas admitted.

"What are you talking about?!"

"I want you to go back to Kinn Pete. Go back to your pack and start over with them. You don't deserve to be on the run. You're a great bodyguard and probably the best. If you stay with me and run and hide, you'll end up dead and I'll be damned if that happened. So please.....go back and forget about me." Vegas explained to Pete.

"Or better yet, you can just kill me. If I ever wanted to die, I would rather you be the one to kill me Pete." Vegas said which caused Pete to slap him hard on the chest.

"Don't say stuff like that. I would never kill you." Pete told him.

Pete stood up off Vegas and pulled him off the ground as well. Vegas walked up closer to Pete, hugging him one last time. Pete couldn't help but to wrap his arms around Vegas waist to take in his scent for one last time. He knows what Vegas is saying is right.

Vegas pulled away from the hug as he started to walk off but when Vegas turned around, he walked back to kiss Pete on the lips again. He couldn't leave this place without feeling Pete's lip against his.

Vegas let go of their long kiss and walked away for good this time with tears in his eyes. He hopped on the motorcycle without turning back as he drove off and left Pete at the front of the house.
