Declaring war-
It's been relatively quiet since Pete came back. News circulated as a few werewolves have been found dead near by and everyone happen to believe it was all Vegas's doing to send a message.
Pete was assigned with Porsche to check out the dead wolf bodies. Pete nose tracked the bodies as he found a dead wolf first by a oak tree in the forest. Pete check any vital area for any sign of hope that he is alive but no, he was as dead as nails.
"This is crazy man. This has been the 11th dead body this week. Why is Vegas doing this?" Porsche complained.
Everyone is so quick to jump the gun on Vegas but it could clearly be someone else. Besides, Vegas wouldn't kill and leave the body like that. Vegas has a special way of killing his prey. He would torture them and make them have a gruesome slow death.
Pete knows it because he saw it with his own eyes before. It's obviously the work of Khun Gun and he is sending his own damn pack to ambush Kinn's pack. I swear this family is toxic as fuck.
"Ai Pete, I'm going back to the car to inform Kinn on what's going on." Porsche suddenly said.
"I'll check more for dead bodies." Pete told Porsche as he nodded and left Pete to do the work on his own.
Pete noticed something's are going on between Porsche and Kinn. They are obviously a thing and Pete can smell it a mile away. He's walked by and heard the moans from Kinn's bed room and how Porsche would sneak out at night to go see him.
Porsche said he is going back to tell Kinn about the update of the mission but Pete wouldn't be surprised if they also had phone sex.
This thought made Pete smile but Pete stop smiling when he smelled a familiar scent. A scent that was drawn to him. A scent that he knows very well. Pete suddenly ran towards the smell as fast as he could on legs.
Through the trees, bushes, and bug Pete saw what he couldn't believe with his own two eyes. He saw....
"Vegas?" Pete called out.
His Vegas.
Vegas turned around with a smirk as he walker's towards Pete and hugged him. Pete was so stunned and couldn't move.
"Ai Pete hug me back." Vegas told him and Pete finally snapped out of it as he heard Vegas speak.
So it really is him.
Pete listened as wrapped his arms around Vegas tightly. So happy to see him and he is doing okay but this is dangerous. He should be hiding and not lurking around the damn forest but still Pete has been dying to feel Vegas in his arms again.
"I've missed you so much Pete." Vegas admitted which made Pete smile.
"I've missed you too." Pete said as he felt the same way. He cried almost every night because he misses him so much.
"I hope you're doing well and I'm glad you're at least safe." Vegas said as he stopped hugging to look at Pete from head to toe.
"You shouldn't be here. Everyone is still looking for you." Pete reminded him but all Vegas did was smirk.
"You've found me and are you going to kill now Mr. Pet?" Vegas joked.
"You know I would never kill you but I'm serious Vegas."
"I know but I wanted to see you and.....to warn you. My father is up to no good and he is already starting his plan. He.....wants me to help join him taking my cousins down one in for all. He wants to kill Uncle Korn and become alpha himself." Vegas said as he got serious.
Pete was shock of the news that Vegas is telling him. So Pete was right about one thing that Khun Gun was behind these killings for dead werewolves.
"Why are you telling me this Vegas?" Pete questioned him.
"Because when tomorrow comes, I want you to run away with me durning the battle. I need you to at least be safe Pete. I can't loose you." Vegas admitted.
"Can't you just tell your father not to start this war?" Pete asked him but Pete should know better by now.
"You know I can't Pete. Please run away with me. We can go some place far and nice to start our life over together. If my dad wins and take over, he promises to leave me alone and we will be free together." Vegas said but Pete shakes his head and steps back from Vegas.
"I can't. I won't run away with you. I'm here now with Kinn and the pack and I can't betray and leave them again. If your father is declaring war tomorrow, so be it. The packs will fight and what happens on the battle field will stay on the battle field." Pete stated as he was staring deep into Vegas's eyes.
Vegas has found another reason why he likes Pete so much. He is brave and the only person that is not afraid to challenge him. Vegas pulled Pete into another hug one last time.
"Be careful tomorrow and just not to get yourself killed. If anyone hurts you, I burn the entire world to avenge you." Vegas said and even though Pete chuckled, Vegas was serious.
Vegas would burn the whole world for Pete.
"I wish it didn't have to be like this. I'm miserable without you." Pete admitted.
"Gosh, I want to fuck you right now in this damn forest but I can't. We don't have much time." Vegas cursed as he really want Pete now.
"Ai Pete!" Porsche shouted as he was done with his phone call with Kinn.
Pete cursed the world that his time with Vegas is over Pete told Vegas to escape right now before he gets caught and he does as he ran far away again.
"What are you looking at?" Porsche suddenly went up to Pete.
"Huh? Nothing, I'm not looking at anything." Pete said as he nervously smiled at Porsche. "Let's keep moving." Pete insist as he walked back.
Porsche thought Pete looked suspicious but he ignored it and moved along.
