"hi..." jenna croaked out from behind a white pillow she hugged to herself with one arm while the other held her phone upright. a breathy laugh left you through your nose, watching as she rubbed her eyes probably to help it get used to how bright her screen was compared to the dark room.

"sorry for not answering, i just got home from the airport." you apologized while pulling your suitcase to the end of your bed from the corridor to your room, quickly stepping back to the frame and closing the door behind you before jumping onto your bed.

"no it's alright, i went a little overboard with the texts. today was just a lot." jenna said, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. you waved her down before leaning down to undo your shoelaces and kick them off with little care as to where they land.

you had all the time anyone could ask for in the next coming days, no one wanted to ask you questions and your manager was also kind enough to leave you alone until something like a photo shoot for a magazine came up.

"eh, worry not. it felt good to know someone was desperate for my attention." you started to tease her with a cocky grin on your face, pushing yourself up against the bed's headboard. you let a content sigh out as you grab the covers, feeling up the soft fabric and pulling it over yourself.

"oh god, get over yourself!" she shouted into the phone and you had to quickly turn the volume down to not to intrigued sadie, and potentially have her run into your room uninvited. "alright, alright. what did you want to talk about?"

"the party and what kind of a drunk you are." she started, her eyebrows curiously knotting together as she waited for your answer. "you go first." you challenged, crossing your free arm on your chest.

"i might cry that much is sure, don't know any more than that." jenna said and you honestly expected another answer. she seemed like someone who would get all clingy or maybe too clumsy and irresponsible while drinking. this just proved how much you had to improve judging someone's character.

"yeah, maybe some tears will roll if not on sadie's shoulder then yours. I'm not sure what kind of a drunk i am, i get hangovers and i forget everything." it was a terrible habit of yours, getting too handsy with the bottle at parties and regretting every choice you had made up until that morning, even though you did not remember any of them.

"so my mane-" you cut her off, still not risking the possibility of sadie being around your room and waiting for you to drop a juicy bomb for her to interrogate you about. "shh, the walls are thin." you put a finger on your lips, eyes wide looking around as you tried to hear if there were any steps outside your door.

"we can text about those things, alright? let's just talk about how your interviews went if you're able to stay up a little more." jenna nodded, also putting a finger on her lips with a small giggle.
