Amber was working her shift for almost an hour when Moon and Yasmine made their way inside. They both walked to the ordering counter.
Amber: Hey guys. *smiles at them*
Moon: Hey. *smiles at her and looks at the menu*
Amber: What can I get you?
Moon: Hmm, I'll have fries.
Amber: What about you, Yasmine?
Yasmine: Umm, *looks at the menu and then at Amber* I'll have a mango smoothie.
Amber: Alrighty. *goes to make the smoothie and get Yasmine's fries*
Moon and Yasmine sat at a booth and shortly after, Amber brought out their fries and smoothie.
Amber: *sets the smoothie down in front of Yasmine and the fries in front of Moon* Here you go.
Yasmine: Thanks. *takes a sip*
Moon: Are you able to sit with us for a bit?
Amber: *looks around* Yeah, it's pretty slow right now. *sits down next to Yasmine, across from Moon*
Moon: So me and Yasmine were talking-
Yasmine: *looks at Moon then Amber* Well first I want to know how this date went with you and Robby.
Amber: *looks at Yasmine* It went well. We had a good time. And now we're partners for our science project. So what were you talking about? *looks at Moon then Yasmine*
Moon: Your mom and Robby's dad knew each other in high school, right?
Amber: Right.
Yasmine: How come you and Robby never really talked before? You'd think with your parents being friends in high school, it'd lead to you and Robby being friends.
Amber: Actually, our parents dated.
Moon: *looks at Yasmine then Amber again* All the more reason why you should've already been talking.
Amber: Well, yeah, I don't know. I guess I never really saw a reason for it to lead me and Robby to a friendship.
Yasmine: Hm.
Amber notices customers coming in.
Amber: Well, that's my cue. If you guys need anything else, just let me know. *gets up and goes back to work*
The guys never came to visit, and the day went on. Then the next day, they got through the school day, and Robby and Amber met up in the courtyard.
Amber: You guys don't have training today, right?
Robby: No, no. My dad canceled training today because of tonight.
Amber: *nods* Makes sense.
Robby, Miguel, and Amber all made their way to Miguel's mom's car.
Carmen: Hey guys.
Amber: Hi, Mrs. Diaz. Thanks for the ride.
