Part 11

Amber and Moon were sitting on the couch in their pajamas. Ali had gone to bed but Moon wanted to be filled in on everything.

Amber: We almost kissed.

Moon: What?! Robby almost kissed you?

Amber: *smiles, nodding*

Moon: Well what happened?

Amber: *puts her arm on the couch, leaning her head on her hand, sitting it up* Hawk happened.

Moon: No. *a worried expression came across her face*

Amber: *nods* It's no big deal though. I'm sure there will be more chances in the near future. Hopefully.

Moon: There will be, don't worry about it.

Amber: *takes her cup of coffee and takes a sip* I want this to last, you know.

Moon: You guys would be great together.

Amber: *moves her arm off the couch and leans forward* Can I ask you something?

Moon: Anything.

Amber: Karate. Cobra Kai, specifically, their training seems really hard. Like hard on the students. And the way I hear Miguel and them talk about it.

Moon: Like all their competitive talk? I know, it's different than cheerleading.

Amber: It is.

Moon: And you're worried about Robby? And what it could do to him?

Amber: I just hope we're not too different.

Moon: Well, I think if Hawk and I can make it work, I wouldn't expect anything less for you two. However, there was that one incident where Hawk and I did almost end things.

Amber: I remember.

Moon: But we didn't. And we've been good since then. So I really wouldn't worry. I think Robby's genuinely a really good guy-

Amber: I agree.

Moon: -And if he was worried about the compatibility between you two, I think he'd let you know that.

Amber: *nods* Yeah. Thanks, Moon.

Moon: Anytime. *smiles* Now, I'm gonna get to bed.

Amber: Good idea.

The two went to bed, Moon going to the guest bedroom and Amber going to her bedroom.

The next morning, Amber and Moon decided to head over to Sam's after she had reached out and invited them over.

Moon: You haven't seen them train yet, have you?

Amber: I don't think so. Maybe once or twice, not long though. Have you?

Moon: Once.

Amber and Moon walked to the back where Daniel had his training.

Daniel: Hey, morning guys. I wasn't sure you two were really going to show.
