Chapter 7 Reaching into the past.

Y/ns pov

It all started years ago.

Fayes pov

I was walking through the forest with my husband y/n and our son atreus. They were the two most important people in my life. But as we walked I started to notice something....someone was watching us. And so I grabbed my husband's hand.

Faye: "Honey....I think someone's watching us. Take atreus and run. I'll handle this."

Y/n: "No. I'll take care of this."

But as my husband went to grab his blades I stopped him. I didn't want y/n to go down this path again. This path of vengeance. Besides. Im strong enough to defeat whoever this is. And so I send y/n and atreus home. Meanwhile I grab the leviathan axe and slowly make my way deeper into the forest. That is until I met a wizard.

Wizard: "Hello there....my name is professor ozpin. It's a plesure to meet you."

Faye: "I dont appreciate you watching my family. So I suggest you make it quick."

Ozpin: "Fine. So here's the deal. I run beacon academy a school made to train young warriors. And I think atreus would make a great fit for the academy. I want him to come and study at beacon."

Faye: "And what makes you think I would allow my son to become a soldier for beacon?"

Ozpin: "Listen you and I both know that salems dangerous. And we need your help in ending this war. So I'm also offering you and your husband spots at beacon also. You could both be professors."

Faye: "again what makes you think that we care about your little war. My husband and I have seen the pain that war can bring. So no we won't be joining your academy. Neither will atreus."

Ozpin: "Oh...thats not your choice to make. Team strq. Your up!"

A red portal opend up behind ozpin as he stepped through it. As ozpin stepped into the portal 4 other people emerged. They were geared up with high tech weapons. They almost looked like they were from the future.

Faye: "Oh and who are you people supposed to be?"

??? 1: "We...are your death."

The woman with the katana stated before charging at me. It was 4 vs 1. But I held my ground. Using the leviathan axes cold power I created a huge blast of ice sending it at the woman with the katana. The blast sent her flying into a tree. But as I was about to continue my assult the blonde haired male deliverers a hard punch to my gut.

???: "Raven! Are you ok!"

The girl known as raven grunted as she stood up ready for more. Meanwhile the black haired male charges at me he tried to hit me with his sword only for his blade to be met by my axe. The frost slowly crept up the black haired males blade causing it to slowly freeze. But just then something crashed into me sending the black haired male flying back.

???: "Awww cmon summer I was handling her just fine."

Summer: "Hah yeah right you were losing. Now then. Its my turn."

And with this summer charged at me her scythe was at the ready. So I quickly throw my axe into summers scythe catching her off guard. Before charging at her. The Two of us clashed again. But raven jumped in again to aid her teammate. The 2 warriors were powerful. And they put up a good fight. But eventually the black haired male and blonde haired male joined in again

???: "Let's do this taiyang."

???: "Whatever you say qrow."

The two men joined the fight and it was just no use. I fought to the best of my ability but. I couldn't do this forever. So I decide to atleast take out one of then. And eye for an eye.

Faye: "ngh!"

I was struck in the back. By summer. This just pissed me off. So I harnessed my magic into the axe. And slammed it down into summers side causing the young huntress to spit up blood.

Summer: "Heh.....guess I won't be coming home after all...im sorry ruby."

Summer looked at me before using the last of her energy to plunge he scythe straight into my chest.

Faye: "ghnng."

I choked on my blood as I fell to the ground. My life-force slowly left my body.

Qrow: "Oh god....no no no summer!"

He runs over to summers body as she dies. Meanwhile I lay there dying....my eyes closed and I took my last breath.

Faye: "I'm sorry........y/n...Atreus...I failed you both."

Young y/ns pov.

When me and atreus got home. I told him to stay hidden. As I went back out to find Faye. Something felt wrong. When I arrived at my wife's last known location only to find 3 people mourning a silver eyed girl and my wife dead on the floor.

Y/n: "faye....FAYE!"

I ran over and held my wife's dead body tears slowly ran down my face.

Y/n: "You....killed her. You took my wife!'

I yelled at the 3 remaining people. But raven stared back at me before creating a portal and dragging her 2 remaing teammates through it. Leaving me alone and without answering.

Y/n: "No nooooooooo NOOOOOOOO I SWARE IM GONNA KILL YOU IM GONNA END YOUR LIVES!"

Flashback to the future.

Y/n: and that's how it happend. That's how your mother died....she died killing my wife."
