Welcome welcome, picture above is the prompt for this wonderful oneshot! I take Gavin to never read very often 'sides if its in a report. sOoO, here we go-

Gavin sat in his apartment, mumbling quietly as he looked through previous texts of him and Nines'.
Gavin had wanted to impress Nines by reading the same books Nines read, but he couldn't for the life of him remember what books the android liked. As he found the text he was looking for, he smirked.
"Perfect, that tincan'll be so impressed with me reading these stupid books he'll have to be willing at least go on a date with me." Gavin triumphantly smirked, getting up. "Off to the library." Gavin pet his cat Socks before leaving. "Don't destroy anything while I'm gone!" Gavin told the cat, earning a meow in response. Gavin went to the library, searching for books Nines had liked. He grabbed a couple, looking at them. He rose an eyebrow. "..This looks like phcking gibberish." He mumbled, before heading over to the front desk. "Still gonna try and read it." He mumbled. He checked the books out, nodding as a thanks before he went home. He opened the door, nudging it open with his shoulder. "Hey Socks." He chirped, greeting the kitten. Said kitten meowed, trotting over and rubbing up against Gavin's legs. Gavin shut the door gently, going and sitting on the sofa. He curled up, opening one of the books. Immediately, he looked confused at the words. "What. What the hell-?" He rose an eyebrow. "This is- How does tincan read this?" He asked. Gavin shook his head and tried to read it, having to reread the first few sentences about five times. Gavin seemed incredibly frustrated, narrowing his eyes. "How in gods name does robocop read this?" Gavin mumbled. He eventually got too frustrated, dropping the book onto the couch beside him. He groaned and put his head into his hands. After a minute there was a knock before a certain android came in.

"Detective Ree-..Detective?" Nines walked over to Gavin, who lifted his head. "Are you alright? You're showing signs of stress." Nines cocked his head to the side, much like a puppy.
"Truth be told? ..Well yeah, I'm fine technically, just frustrated." Gavin sighed.
"About what, if I may ask?" Nines inquired.
"..Heh, I tried reading a couple of those nerd books you like and.. well.. I kinda got frustrated and couldn't understand it." Gavin rubbed the back of his neck. Nines snorted, before starting to laugh. Laugh. The sound was music to Gavin's ears. "What's so funny, Tincan?" He asked.
"You tried reading just to impress me?" Nines grinned.
"..Maybe." Gavin mumbled.
"If you wanted to ask me on a date you just had to ask, Detective." Nines sat next to Gavin.
"Well I didn't think it would be that easy." Gavin crossed his arms, leaning against Nines, who chuckled.
"You're cute." Gavin flushed, looking at the android.
"H-Huh?"
"You're cute, Detective." Nines leaned closer to Gavin's face. Gavin's eyes flickered to Nines' lips before going back to his icy eyes.
"Is that so..?"
"It is so. And I can prove it." Gavin saw a smirk appear on the android's face.
"How's th-" Gavin was cut off by Nines placing his lips against Gavin's. The smaller male melted, wrapping his arms around the android as he kissed back. Nines pulled Gavin closer. Nines entangled his fingers into Gavin's hair, making him whimper lightly. Nines smirked a bit, pulling away after a minute.
"Whining just for me, Detective?~" The android teased.
"Shut the hell up and kiss me." Gavin growled, closing the short gap between them once again. Nines ended up pinning Gavin to the soda, pulling away a little. Gavin panted softly, grunting.

Nines began to kiss down Gavin's jaw, sliding a hand up his shirt. Gavin whimpered quietly, arching his back a bit.
"Nines.." Gavin uttered. The android bit Gavin's neck, sucking and licking until a hickey was left. Nines pulled back with a chuckle. "I phcking hate you.." Gavin grumbled.
"I know, I'm the worst for loving you." Nines laid down, holding Gavin close. The short male grumbled, burying his head into Nines' chest.
"You are the worst for loving me."
"Shut up before I go home, detective."
"..Oh, what did you come here for in the first place?"
"....Oh. There was a murder- A murder!" Nines sat up, startling Gavin. "Captain Fowler sent me to get you so we can go to the crime scene!" Nines got up. Gavin groaned. They left, being scolded by Fowler once they got there.

"Hey Tin can, you owe me cuddles when we get back to my apartment." Gavin hummed. Nines nodded. Gavin looked around. Nobody was watching the two, so Gavin pulled Nines down. He kissed the android excitedly. Nines blushed a soft blue, kissing Gavin. Gavin entangled his hands into Nines' hair, screwing it up.
"HEY YOU TWO, QUIT MAKING OUT, WE HAVE A DAMN JOB TO DO!" Hank yelled, Connor laughing hysterically. Nines pulled away and grumbled. Gavin huffed.
"Cockblock old man-" He muttered. Nines chuckled.
"We can continue when we get home, Gavin." Nines chirped. Gavin squeaked as Nines groped his ass before walking off. Gavin stared at Nines. FUCKER- Gavin thought. He ran after his android. Once Gavin and Nines were allowed to leave, the two got in the back seat to make out for a bit. Lips crashing together, eagerly grabbing at one another, groaning and grunting. Fifteen minutes of making out later, Gavin was driving home with Nines in the passenger seat, fixing his hair. "You screwed up my hair, Gavin." The android whined.
"Payback, Tin can."
"Your hair is always a mess." Nines retorted. Gavin huffed.

Once they were home, Gavin and Nines eagerly made out yet again on the sofa. After a little while, Gavin was tired. Nines noticed, and tilted his head.
"Sleepy, detective?"
"Yeah, so cuddle me." Gavin demanded. Nines rolled his eyes, holding the feral cat of a human to his chest. Gavin got comfortable before he ended up asleep.

So! How was that? Not my first oneshot by any means, but I wanna know what y'all think! This took me less than a week to write, I'm proud of myself lmao.
