Side note: This was also for AP English.

You are as dazzling as the sun's light
Brightly, you shine in the most lovely way
The brightness that you beam softens the night
That brightness always blinds me everyday

Enthralling and enchanting me in love
Oh, through my admiring gaze, I smile
Your gracefulness is like that of a dove
No other woman can match such a style

But as I lay dying, my mind is clear
The sin that I committed is evil
I have hidden my mistress I hold dear
I now confess the crime that's illegal

The light that you once radiated fades
As I watch, my death courses through my veins
