" I WANT YOU ALL TO DO A SEARCH on chromosomal DNA and make a slide on how it connects with last weeks work on protein." The Beverly Hills teacher announced to her class.
Everyone including Estrella quickly pulled out their macbooks and got to work. Estrella was in the midst of putting her AirPods in her ear but stopped her action once she heard the conversation happening in front of her.
"It's okay if you don't have a computer, just pair up with a classmate for now." The teacher smiled at Spencer while he awkwardly nodded.
Estrella noticed how the white boy next to Spencer shuffled away as soon as Spencer turned his head.
The latina rolled her eyes at the micro aggression and tapped the boy in the back with her acrylic nail. "Hey Todd, continue watching that Logan Paul feed while your grade continuously drops." Estrella smiled sarcastically at the now embarrassed boy.
Estrella then turned her head to Spencer "I'll share with you, if you want."
The boy stood to sit next to the girl who made space on her desk for him. "Thank you, uh what's your name?" Spencer asked kind of in a trance at the pretty girl in front of him.
Estrella laughed at his nervousness "Estrella Flores, and you're Spencer James." They shook hands as Spencer's eyebrows raised at the fact that she already knew him.
Estrella noticed the boy's expression making her double back "Sorry that's kind of weird, my best friend Olivia told me about a transfer student and i've never seen you before so-" The girl rambled until the boy started to laugh.
"Nah it's cool, Estrellas a pretty name." He complimented making the girls cheeks turn a bright pink.
"Thank-" Estrella was cut off by the teacher scolding them.
